This makes me wonder if AB's numbers will drop off for the next 4 weeks without Ben. Thoughts?

Hall of Fame quarterback compared to a poor passer who is on an NFL roster only due to injuries? Yes, AB's numbers will suffer.

Confidence fella's. Vick will get us some W's in Ben's absence. If not. Well then I will give you guys some props and eat my crow

Yes, his numbers will drop and his streak may come to an end.

Of course they'll drop some but I think he will still show why he is the best in the league. I predict his streak continues through the Vick weeks

If Dennis Dixon and Isaac Redman could get us a win over the Rats, you'd think Mike Vick, Bell, and AB would be able to.

Good point. And this Ravens team is weaker than that 2010 Ravens team

Or was it 2011?

I think a **** ton of dump offs to running backs and tight ends. ab will still get is 5 catches but not easy

How was our defense then and who were the rats missing?

The 5/50 streak was a stupid record anyway.

I believe both the Steelers and Rats defenses were near the top in the league so that's really a moot point.

Shockingly, I think the Rats have a worse defense than us this year so even factoring in defenses, I still give the Steelers the edge Thursday with a better offense (even without Ben) and a slightly better defense...especially without Thuggs and Ngata who have always played well against us. With the best RB tandem in the league, pound them to death with the run, we shouldn't even need to air it out that much.

AB probably averages under 60 the next four to six weeks.

The whole offense will suffer. The hope is Vick can take care of the football and make some splash plays with the weapons available. Next week with Bryant back we have the long ball threat back. That's one of Vick's specialties so I can't wait to see him chuck the ball deep to Bryant.

I figure the Rats go 8 in the box and dare us to pass. Hopefully Haley & Vick pick up on this and work in some short passes and play action to help loosen up the Rats from trying to clog the line of scrimmage.
