I just had a thought. Bell's big interview upon arriving back in the fold was pretty slick and a little braggadocios at the same time. I heard he even pitched his rap ****. I have this feeling, along with some media reports to back it up some, that Tomlin is not happy with his star RB.

OK that said......Now what are the chances that Cool Shades exerts his displeasure demonstrably by putting said star in his place a tad. He shouldn't be needed so much Sunday. His "game conditioning" is questionable and we have a couple able bodied yongins chompin' at the bit to get to gettin'.

So will Tomlin let "Mr. Me" the player that deserves to get paid like two players sit some ?

Will he limit his time on the field to show who's runnin' the show or does it all go away like it never happened and Shades starts right off ignoring the fact that any other running backs even made this team ?

I have known some purty vindictive guys in my time alive who wouldn't even dress him the first game....jus sayin'

I'll be an interested observer, that's for sure.

AB. Yeah, I see ya’ll, cuz. Big dog, I got pups bigger than Air Bud. Are you aware, Bud, why I’m not at practice? Im’ma need 17 cuz 26 is savage. They say the franchise should be enough. Pockets of Professor Clump. Let me get back to my day. I can’t keep showing Buddy love.”

I think Tomlin - and Bell for that matter - are concerned about one thing and one thing only, how to beat the Browns on Sunday. Everything else is immaterial at this point, the whole holdout, everything that was said at camp, et al. As expected Bell showed up in great shape and ready to roll. Tomlin and the staff will do everything they can to get him up to speed these next few days. When the ball is kicked off Sunday all will be forgiven. I truly believe that. Tomlin may work in Conner/Watson a bit more than usual depending on Bell's conditioning, but that's it. He'll be front and center to the Steelers attack, exactly where he should be.
