He is going to "player speak" and a lot of people here will hang onto what he says. He has some points but he is expressing them
in the wrong venue. Why go public unless you think you are putting pressure on said team (steelers) to sign you. If you think you
are swaying public opinion............ you're just confirming the tool part of you. There is no reason other than drama to go public. Do
you think the Rooney's will suddenly offer your asking???? LeVeon, you are maxed out on this team as money isn't there for what
you want. Your value isn't what you think. I would welcome any other team to whisk you away and let you "RAP" at their complex.

I don't understand all the hate for Bell. It's a business just ask Marcus Peters, Michael Bennett and co. Heck the Hawks are getting rid of Sherman after all he's given that franchise. Teams get rid of players when it suits them, If you think you're worth more than someone is offering you, more power to you.

HEY dude, It's not very nice to wish injury on someone like this regardless of circumstances. I don't even know you but it would be like me wishing injury on you so you can't make a living or do what you currently do. It's just bad in a lot of ways and I hope you reconsider your harshness. What are we to believe???? Yesterday I think he said he was sitting some and may retire to pursue his musc career???? TODAY he says, trust me, I'm going to play but not be in training camp or OTAs or anything team oriented until absolutely nessecary. NICE

PLAY this year gone next. Don't find long term contract room for him........ NOT worth it to many strikes

I just read an article from the trib...they were writing about Bell's twitter Q&A....it says Bell stated he wouldn't hold out. Would be there week 1...then went onto say he might report in week 4. LOL...You can't make this **** up. The dude is out there....somewhere.
 
To be fair...maybe Bell was referring to week 4 of preseason. I don't know.

Le'Veon Bell held a live chat with fans Wednesday night on his Instagram account so he could clear up any confusion about his contract demands.

All the Steelers running back did was muddy the situation further during his 30-minute session.

Bell answered a question by saying he would not sit out during the season, but stated he would repeat his stance from 2017 when he skipped training camp before signing his franchise-tag tender a week before the start of the regular season.

In the next breath, Bell indicated he might not take the field until Week 4.

Unless the Steelers and Bell can agree to a long-term contract by July 16, he will play under the franchise tag for the second year in a row, this time making $14.54 million.

“Honestly, no, I'm not going to sit out,” Bell said. “I'm going to be in the facility Week 1. It's going to be a rerun of last year. I'm not going to (training) camp. I'm not doing nothing else extra, OTAs, none of that.

“I'm going to strictly go to what I have to go to. I want to win every game. I want to have the best statistical career that I possibly can, so I want to play in every game that I can possibly play.”

A day earlier, in an article released by Billboard.com, Bell said he would consider sitting out until Week 10. Under NFL rules, Bell would have to report by then so he could accrue a full season and become a free agent in 2019.

“Me saying I was going to sit out was more emotional at the time,” Bell said, in reference to the Billboard article. “When I was asked the question, that's the way I felt at the time. I might come in Week 1. I might come in Week 4. I don't know what week I'm going to come in, but I'm going to play this year, though.

“I'm going to play. I just don't know when I'm going to play.”
 
Duh he is going to play... and probably play week 1... lets do math... 14 million > 0.... lets say he sat out then signs a 5 year deal somewhere next year for 17 million.... his contract would basically be worth the same as signing a six year 14 million dollar and change contract this year... plus he would have a far harder time getting that cash with a year off too... he has no leverage...

Chill out morons. I was joking. But that ****** can pack his bags if the 13 million a year we offered last year isn’t enough to make ends meet. You guys spend way too much of your life idolizing these overgrown children.

I listened via my son's account and we were both eager to hear a candid conversation around the current state of affairs between LB and the Steelers org. Ended up being a colossal waste of time and not a Q+A. Definitely more of an LB PR attention grab - my crib, my friends, my concerns, my career, my music, etc. That's fine, it's his life, but don't feel he cleared anything up or helped his cause in any way. Talked in circles a few times, but what really lost me was the conversation around "water not being wet". Not judging, but felt that a random test was in order after listening to that commentary.

We did submit a question, but it wasn't answered... You want to be a Steeler and are just asking for your value to be recognized. The Steelers also have a special value to you personally and within the league. They seem willing to make significant moves in your direction in terms of unprecedented salary for the position, but you seem to be just holding to a fixed number. What is your position on actually trying to work something out, rather than just stubbornly stand your ground?

Your question wasn't answered because it was WAY WAY to complicated for him to comprehend yet alone answer. If he failed a drug test today, he would be sunk but his line of thought is sinking him nearly as fast. He has to many people whispering in his ear and he is dumb enough to listen. 27years old and still needs to grow up. Boy in a man's body.

So the BS will drag into camp where he wont show, then if he does show up week 1 he wont be at 100 percent just like last year, then once he does get going whenever he decides to show up, we have to wait and see if he can be on time for whatever playoff game they end up in?

I guess someone has to wear the major distraction chain since Martavis is getting his act together. If he really is....

I am about a distraction away from saying the hell with this team after 40 years sad to say.
