Depending on what you would want the offense to be, you'd change the receivers.
If you want to emphasis downfield passing stick with Bryant, if you want more ball control,
move JuJu outside and Rogers to slot. Bryant plays on 4 wide and when you want to feature him.

I would prefer the ball control, because Ben isn't as mobile to rollout and hit guys downfield as he use to be.
Bell is a back that gets you yards by running or receiving. Brown and Rogers are good at short crossing
patterns and JuJu is a solid possession receiver and good blocker.

Seems like with the age of our QB and the personnel we have we could excel as a possession offense.
Bryant's hypothetical potential seems to be throwing our offense off.

They need to get ahead of the chains on first down. And they really need to change their offense inside the ten. It isnt their red zone offense. Its their inside the ten offense. Whatever they do to get there does not work as the field shrinks.

Yeah let's turn Ben into Trent Dilfer.

That'll work wonders.

It worked for John Elway at the end of his career

IF they refuse to spread it out and open up the offense and until Bryant can prove he deserves more looks by getting open I think you have to use the run game to open up the passing game. Get ball into Bell's hands every first down and quit wasting drives on lone deep shots. That's swollen headed arrogant Steelers ball. Just like showing up to win and expecting "inferior" teams to lie down for you.

Steelers have a ***** defense now and teams will continue to ram it down their throats, taking over with their own ball control so we can't afford to get behind by wasting drives

Juju is a unproven no matter where you line him up. Downfield passing lacks the greater efficiency of all the levels (deep , close, intermediate)( of Ben's throws and it isn't even close.

I think you have to go with ball control, which right now plays to his strengths.

AND get rid of that WR screen ****. You need to get Ben involved in some of the "on field" play calling with the no huddle. Trap the defense you want on the field then let it rip with the no huddle. That would actually mean making in game adjustments to acheive that......

They have the best RB in the game. Give him the damn ball. Stop running Bryant across the middle on five yard routes, he's not a damn slot WR. As for Ben, his throws deep to Bryant have been awful. Sunday speaks for itself, we'd better hope it was a fluke. Rogers is a damn good slot WR, stop being idiots about a muffed punt, he makes catches and our inconsistent QB likes him. The guy who took his spot was a waste of space Sunday. The only way they turn this season back around is to get Bell going, the passing game is ***.

How about a ball control offense that takes shots downfield because it's open due to a dominant run game?

That's what we are supposed to be. But our QB can't hit the broad side of a barn downfield anymore unfortunately

Since we SHOULD be able to do both well, we should attack the weakness of the opposing defense so I would say it should vary from game to game. Jags are worst in the league at defending the run, sure let's throw it 55 times and give Bell 15 carries. That makes total sense lol

We should be a well balanced offense keeping the opposing defense guessing what we're going to do next. Tough to do when 50% of your plays are shotgun handoff to Bell up the middle or any of the 5 variations of WR screens.

The only success in the air this season has been because AB is just better than everyone else and can get open no matter what play is called.
