Despite the talk coming from the Steelers about how they believe in Rudolph, they have to know that they can't go into next season without bringing in someone to challenge him for that spot, especially with Ben coming off of elbow surgery. We all want to think Ben will be back good as new, but we know, like Bradshaw, he could be one throw away from retirement. With that said, which way do we go, a grizzled veteran career backup, or a younger failed starter, and who?

Its obvious what the Steelers should do, Henry and Tannyhill are both about to become FAs, go get them both, let Ben and Bud go and ride the next wave!

Go Steelers

I bet they are planning on Rudolph winning the #2 spot and Lynch securing #3. It may be a real competition for the #2 between those two. Barrett and Duck will be around as a camp arm only.

It is a see who is available after the first wave at QB. But not addressing it would be a huge off-season fail.

Lynch has played in 5 NFL games and hasn't had a snap in the regular season since 2017. Tomlin didn't think he was ready to go by the final week of the season. The guy isn't it and they need to move on.
