Now that Weddle is off the market, who else is available that's worth looking at?

I don't see S Tony Jefferson

Ryan Mundy?!
strike up the band! get the gang back together.

my guess is we draft a safety in rds 2 or 3 and let him compete with Golden. Good year to draft safeties.

I wouldn't mind Thurmond... or Nelson.

Rahim Moore could be a decent bounce back guy. Not a strong safety though.

Nelson, could easily provide MORE than what Allen did. He did have 8 INTs last year. Draft a safety, Nelson-Golden-Rookie. Nelson should come on the cheap too.

You drinking Bacardi and coke again, Ark???

rumor is a few fans wouldn't mind paring bukaki rambo with **** and gay

it is possible bukaki would be the face of the defense

with gay in the slot and **** holding back any stiff competition

It'll be interesting to see what he runs at the pro day.. I think he's going to be a little slower than expected. Somewhere around 4.6 range.

But what everyone wants to know, is how big his head is...

Yeah, I believe he didn't run at the combine for a reason and he runs in the 4.6 range as well. But if he's carrying 220lbs - 230lbs we could easily have him drop 10+ pounds and speed up a bit. He really thinks he should play LB and if that is the case I wouldn't even think about drafting him. Hell, I really like that Justin Simmons out of Boston College. I think he'd be a nice addition and looking at where he's ranked as a 5th pr 6th round pick we could grab him in the 4th. His 40 time won't impress but look at everything else. He's a better athlete than given credit for but being a long strider 4.6 is what his 40 came out to. But his shuttle and cone and vert were best or near the best at the combine. And watch him on film he is the QB of the secondary, a leader of the team, he's very decisive in analyzing the play, he has very good hands and makes QB's pay for poorly thrown balls, he tackles well but you won't see a highlight of him knocking someone out but he does wrap up and take down. He also won't get any flags the way he tackles. And at 6-2 he has the size to give the Gronks of the world some challenge. Yeah Gronk or Graham are still much larger but it's not like we'd have mighty mouse out there trying to cover 6-2 is a nice sized safety.

Cravens can't cover, he is an ILB. Plenty of better safeties Like Thomson, Joseph, etc.

This is one guy I thought we'd look at, guess not. ;)

David Bruton - DB - Redskins
http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5347/david-bruton

Redskins signed S David Bruton, formerly of the Broncos, to a three-year, $9 million contract.
It's a nice signing for a team that received arguably the league's worst safety play in 2015. Bruton has been a key reserve for the Broncos since 2009, and was having a strong 2015 before breaking his leg late in the year. Bruton is a core special teamer who should be one of the Redskins' top three safeties in 2016.

Not sure why there hasn't been more visits at S and CB.

Experience is needed as all they really have is 2 corners and 2 safeties experienced.

when you want 6... especially if they will play 5.

Dang... I missed this signing. I thought he would be a good fit for us. If he was told he could take a real run at starting...if he could win the job. STINK!

Absolutely! I really like Justin Simmons and really don't understand why he isn't rated as highly among these other safties in the draft, kudos for the name drop.

Rahim Moore - DB - Browns
http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6474/rahim-moore

Browns signed S Rahim Moore to a one-year contract.
Moore was a disaster his only season in Houston, getting benched after seven games and playing just 451 snaps. With Tashaun Gipson gone, he'll give Cleveland veteran insurance opposite Donte Whitner. One of the worst run-stopping safeties in the league, Moore's role should be limited to sub packages.
