Attention AFC DBs – AB is Healthy

Good to see but he is nowhere near 100%. You can see him limping a bit in the one video coming back to line up. As long as he can be 80%+ with no risk to re-injure it and make it worse, I'm good with him playing. Otherwise, he needs to sit the first game and come back for the AFC Championship.

I'm with you TD. I don't see him limping as much, he seems to have no issue putting weight on it, but this would be considered a limited practice. He's working on footwork and timing. His hard route looked good, but I'd need to see more before declaring him healthy.

I will say having him up and running should mean he will practice next week. Just keep an eye out to see whether he is limited or a full participant. That will determine whether or not he plays.

I know Rappaport isnt considered the most reliable source around here but he is reporting that AB will be at full strength and could have played if they were scheduled this weekend.

Don't forget he also has/had the turf toe issue. That could be the cause of the limp. And while I realize he's coming off significant layoff, they've shown with the turf toe that they will suit AB up with limited or no practice participation.

And that turf toe definitely slowed him down. My money is on AB not just playing, but playing at a very high level.

Did Chad Johnson at one game in Cleveland jump into the Dog Pound after scoring a TD? I seem to remember some dude tossing a beer on his back.....anyone got that videoclip?

Ha I forgot about that. I could never work up much hate for Ocho even though he annoyed me for being a cocky loudmouth most of the time, because he was such a silly buffoon who did **** like that. He made me laugh.

Some of you guys are the most negative people.

AB tried to practice last week. AB is running balls out routes in several videos. He always walks with a limp, that's his strut. AB will practice tomorrow.

It isn't negativity when you want to see if he practices. That is a wait and see but hope for the best. Everything they have shown from AB leaves a lot of room for interpretation. And reports are just that. We all know the Steelers practice approach, always the best meter. When I see full practice participant. My hope then turns to expect.

He's running full speed routes with no wrap or anything on his calf. I understand not putting the cart before the horse, but there is 0% chance he doesn't practice.

Like I said, he begged to practice last week and Tomlin wouldn't let him. He would've played today if we played.

You must have seen something different than me. Not out of the impossible. But what I saw was a guy on a machine that takes his weight and reduces the impact. And the one I saw with Chad looked like light practice. Perhaps I didn't see the one you saw. Shrugs.

His route running is perfect. His speed is half speed. More than enough speed to put an out of the league 85 on the ground.

Let’s just say, Chad would never make it as an NFL Corner, but AB looked great. If he balled out with turf toe, you know he’ll be ready for Jacksonville.

AB at the facility this morning ready to return to practice.

The naysayers will still want to see a practice report. Allen Iverson scoffs at that notion, MAN WE TALKIN ABOUT PRACTICE!

Welcome back AB!

Yeah, it'll be a huge deal if they give him another day to rest. We won't have an official injury report until Wednesday if believe

Doesn't look like he needs any more rest. I would expect him to be limited today and full participant Wednesday.
