So much talent and millions spent and they cant even beat an Eagles team missing basically their whole WR core......Then there is this gem from David Moore on Twitter

"Why weren’t Amari Cooper & Randall Cobb on the field for the Cowboys 4th down chance to tie the game? Jason Garrett said both players were on the fieledfor a lot of plays in 2-minute offense & neeed a rest. Cooper said it was part of normal rotation."

So the NFC East title / playoffs on the line and Garrett sits his 2 WRs because its their normal rotation. Think he is worse than Tomlin....

Look at it from the other point of view. A team with no WRs facing one of the best defenses in the league won because they controlled the ball for over 36 minutes. They beat a team that had more talent than they did because the coach had a plan. Think he is better than Tomlin?

Kinda reminds me of a team having its opponent inside the 10 in a tie game and pulling their best defender for the first two downs. Or being in field goal range to tie the game and instead of running trying to pass with a guy who is clearly over his head and losing yardage to get knocked out of field goal range. Still feeling better.

Yeah that was fun to watch. Seeing the cowboys late-season crumbling has happened relatively often this last decade or so, quite a fun tradition

On a side note, why the hell do they insist on showing JJ every other play the Cowboys run, and then give him an impromptu press conference after every game?

You never see ANY owner of the other teams after a win or a loss but by god JJ gets one.

I guess everyone has to be informed about "America's team"....

Sounds a lot like us last year when we also lost 4 of 5 games before winning the regular season finale.

The Iggles are not losing to the G-Men and we are not beating the Rats, so you are right. Little to no chance.

Beating the Rats is exactly what this team will likely do. It is the kind of game Tomlin is good at winning. It is the non marquee matches that challenge him aside from the Patriots he can beat anyone and lose to anyone.

I'd rather be Dallas if it meant an owner that won't tolerate losing.

I just think the Ravens will not roll over and help send the Steelers home w/o a PO chance. They will be licking their chops to make that happen. Duck has looked inept and I believe the faith in him for one good game has wavered. I give them a 35% chance of pulling it out in BAL.

Umm...

Entering this season, since 2010 Dallas was:

11th in regular season record (Steelers 2nd)
3 playoff appearances (Steelers 6)
3 Division titles (Steelers 4)
2 playoff wins (Steelers 5)
4 winning seasons (Steelers 7, potentially 8)

What was that about an owner who doesn't tolerate losing?

I have a feeling we will be seeing paxton lynch which is kinda scary

You could change cowboys to Steelers and your statement is equally factual.

How on earth were we going to control the ball with a noodle arm qb, and an o-line that can't open any holes, or give the qb time to pass. Philly is injured, but not at the most important position.

You don't throw it 38 times. You have to commit to the run. They were never down more than 3 points until the end of the game. You throw quick slants. You can use play action if you are running the ball. Lots of teams have bad QBs but the Steelers are the worst in the league on offense.

They played the Eagles JV team and lost. That's gotta sting.

Garrett does nothing. He has nothing to do with the defense or offense. They have had multiple OCs. He's not a particularly good leader. He's not charming the media at press conferences. He makes tons of mistakes in game decisions. For a guy who went to Princeton, he doesn't do many smart things.
