I know we have a lot of newspapers and websites that have mailbags and live chats asking questions about our beloved Steelers. Now is your chance to ask a very knowledgeable Steelers researcher, reporter, and poster questions about the team, while he is drunk!

I will keep taking questions until I pass out. I will start a new drink if I don't have an answer. You at least have an hour...

Sweet! What are your thoughts on Joe Haden? How long before he is in the starting line up? Who does this mean is gone for sure from the DBs on the roster?

Thanks AW, I just posted about Haden, and the reason why I really like him, is he naturally plays LCB which is the rotational position of Cockrell/ Sensabaugh, and means Burns is in his natural RCB position. Here is a link to his plays last year showing him as an LCB: http://www.Invalid Link - Check SN ...-joe-hadens-2016-pass-breakups-interceptions/

How long before he starts? I think it was right when the contract was signed. I am fairly certain that they will use this week to put him in the starting lineup. If they were willing to give Sensabaugh Cockrell's reps, they will easily give them to Hayden.

Who is off the roster? I will say that I love Hilton. He was my favorite camp darling this year, and I'd love to see him play more. I think Golson is gone now. Steelers have signed 2 CBs this past week, so they are not happy with what we have. I will say, the Steelers made some ballsy moves picking up talent at CB, but they may be Cockless by the end of the week.

Gay is showing some position flexibility at S and CB now, and that looks to be a disrespectful move for Dangerfield...

Next question is about McDonald. I read he has susceptible hands. Is this a true case of "bad" hands or a reflection of the QB play he was around? The highlights I've seen show him to be a beast with the ball.

I will tell you what I really love about McDonald. He can spike the **** out of a football!! He shows passion on the field, and that is very good. You want players out there that want to make plays, and he looks to be that type of player. Let me do a little drunk research and get back to you about his hands.

Last year Vance had 4 drops and 24 receptions. That is a 16% drop ratio to catches.
2015 is 6 drops to 30 catches or a 20% drop rate
2014 is 2 drops to 2 catches for a 100% drop rate
2013 is 3 drops to 8 catches for a 37.5 drop rate

I won't lie. His drop percentages are piss poor. Then again, Kapernick has regressed and the rest of the QBs in 49ers are JV at best. I haven't gotten a chance to break down his hands, but I would assume his catch rate would increase catching from Ben as opposed to less accurate QBs. I also won't be surprised when he drops a ball this season that hits him in the hands.

Going to grab another beer and make this a legit 6 pack! keep those questions comin!

Lol. Nice!

Sadly I'm stumped on any sort of questions

Cope, I have several QUESTIONS as I know you are very knowledgeable about near anything.

1.) If I'm sitting at Peppies having the famous enough Rothlesburger and am 1/2 through it, how long would it take to finish it first, then walk to Heinz field?

2.). In the VERY near future will you do a breakdown of our new TE's ability in all areas of play?

3.). Do you ride motorcycle in PITTSBURGH?

4.). What is your opinion on t*mmy b*y using enhancement drugs??

5.) easiest of all. Who is your favorite team in football and why (short version)

Thanks in advance Cope and drink a couple while answering................

I will also field Rick and Morty or Game of Thrones questions. Those are my shows!!

And......is he out? I picture him toppling over sideways in his chair and going face first in the dog's water bowl. At least that's what I want to picture. Too much to ask for?

Cope, I have several QUESTIONS as I know you are very knowledgeable about near anything.

1.) If I'm sitting at Peppies having the famous enough Rothlesburger and am 1/2 through it, how long would it take to finish it first, then walk to Heinz field?

Trick Question. It depends on the Peppis you got it from. The 2 closest are Smithfield Street (by the bridge) and the Strip. both give you plenty of time to finish on the walk, though the Roeth is a sit down sandwich, not a walker. I will usually split it with someone just so I can walk afterward. Lettuce, tomato, mayo is the way to have it!!

2.). In the VERY near future will you do a breakdown of our new TE's ability in all areas of play?

I'd like to, but I will not be able to get all of them done before cut down. Picking up Vance now puts Xavier and Johnson on the hot seat. I don't see us keeping 4. I see us keeping 3. If I have to choose today, I think Johnson is the odd man out this year. Nix is a better fullback, and Jessie, Xavier, and Vance are better TEs. This is an instance where position flexibility does not help.

3.). Do you ride motorcycle in PITTSBURGH?
No I don't, and ever since Ben got hit on a Pittsburgh Left, i will not, ever...

4.). What is your opinion on t*mmy b*y using enhancement drugs??

I am floored that the league allows him to run a team sanctioned 'nutrition' business out of the stadium complex, and it's not considered a conflict of interest with his salary cap. To me it is a legal front to circumvent the cap. I do believe he is doing whatever he can to prolong his career. I don't know if it's HGH, nutrition supplements, or drugs. It would purely be speculation. But he does really care about what he eats, and that is a big advantage to others keeping it optimal shape.

5.) easiest of all. Who is your favorite team in football and why (short version)

Steelers of course. My Dad worked in the Steel industry in northern Cental PA, as did my Uncle (his only sibling). It's in our blood. It was also a way for us to stay close to Dad when our parents got divorced. We could always talk football to avoid family pain. Though the 80s steelers were very painful to watch at times...
