I think it was more about Davis being demoted, and moving Gay into his more natural position.
 
Could be just for Ravens, they have speed on outside and limited run game.
 
Maybe, Butler is starting in the nickel this week again.
 
It would help if Steve Smith is out - he's the main guy that can catch Joe's lob balls

Speak positive things and good things will happen. Wallace won't do anything more than he has done in every other game. OUR offense needs a ball control type game plan. I think we can both run and pass on the gayvens so I'd like a little conservative play calling, least ways to start the game. USE the run to open up the pass.

PS. Burns will do a good job and between the three (gay /**** / burns) Wallace won't have much to say.

I agree. Gay can play either outside or slot.
 
Guess, everyone's speculation was wrong....Will Gay is questionable on the final injury report. Didn't even know he got hurt. So Burns is a injury replacement possibly?
 
Gay told reporters he has no injury. And when Products asked Shabazz about potentially being activated from the PS if Gay can't go, he said "he was given no indications about that and believes Fay is playing", so who knows.
 
Gay has been getting burnt out there. Honestly he's played like **** this year. Rather see the rookie play then Gay getting burnt and looking stupid.
