I’m dead serious about this. Under his watch, he has turned one of the most respected franchises into a laughingstock. It’s his decision to stick with an arrogant moron as a coach. He has allowed this Brown, Bell, etc bullshit. And he allowed us to get fleeced by Oakland. Now every dipshit player knows exactly what to do to get the Steelers to fold loke a lawnchair. I’m going to be blunt here: Art Rooney II may be a nice guy, but as an owner, he’s a gutless ***** who flat out doesn’t gave a ****. All he cares about is sitting back and counting the cash. I really wish he would sell the team, he’s a disgrace, and take Tomlin and Colbert with him. I know some people will disagree, that’s fine. But as for me, **** Tomlin and Art 2, they’re destroying this team I love.

I'm not happy with him, but I'm far from wishing he would sell the team.

As a Pirates fan, I'm familiar with truly bad ownership, and the Steelers are not close to there yet.

However, I will say that I do not think the Steelers any longer have great ownership, something that gave them an advantage over most teams.

That died with Dan.

Nah I disagree this isn't on Art II. All the crap with AB & Bell falls on Tomlin's shoulders. Either Tomlin will learn from this and become less of a "player's coach" and more strict with this players like Cowher was. These young kids....AB Included have a different mentality than players from years ago. It's not different from real life work situations where employees only care about themselves and not about being team players and helping the team or each other for that matter. I deal with this on a daily basis at my job.....it's incredible how selfish the Millennial generation is.....anyone else see this also? We have bred it into these kids....this mentality where they have all this Self-Worth but lack the common sense vision of how important it is to be a team player and help out in any capacity you can to improve the team. We have taught them this and this is how they behave.....If their Net Worth was equal to their Egotistical Self Worth they'd be the richest people on the planet however it's ultimately what will hold them back from reaching their full potential.

I would have been happy if Tepper bought the team. He understands value and how to build it. The league has moved past when the Chief tearfully received the Lombardi and said 'Well thanks a lot, Tommy'. These are multi-billion dollar enterprises that are not well served by small market scions who were born into good circumstances. They require superior analytical, organizational and capitol management skills - eg billionaires.

Here's an example of how the league has passed Arty and his bewildered staff by. What would you say the value of AB is in comparison to AC? Is AB (sans ******* behavior) worth a 1? A high 1? A mid 1? A low 1? So Dallas calls Oakland and offers their first pick, worth 740 points for Amari Cooper. Nice play by the Raiders. We 'negotiate' a deal with Buffalo where we give them our 1 (850) and AB for their 1 (1350). We net 500 points in value. That trade crashes. So we trade AB to Oakland for their 3 (260) and 5 (141), or 401 points. Anybody who's watching this is pointing and laughing.

IMHO, AB (sans ******* behavior), who has amassed 11207 yards in his 9 year career, holds the record for consecutive 100 catch seasons, owns numerous other accolades, is a likely HoFer, and is in his prime, is worth a 1 (at least 1350). And if I were a billionaire owner, armed with significant experience in value appreciation, I'd demand a high 1 and get it. Such an individual does not run the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Either Tomlin will learn from this...

Tomlin has demonstrated that he isn't capable of learning. Witness our Tampa 2 defense.
