I think they are highly likely to acquire at least 1 additional pick in this draft. They currently have 6 picks in this draft and possibly 10 picks in 2021.
They would prefer something more like 8 and 8. They can either move back in a round or trade 2021 picks. With 2021 draft looking weak if there is no
2020 College football season it could be advantageous to move a couple of those picks.

Colbert gave a huge hint the Steelers want more picks with his 10 round draft suggestion. I think this becomes even more likely if they don't think they can
sign Dupree long-term and believe they need to draft EDGE early this year.

I agree they might be dealing for an early 5th using next draft picks

I think maybe a little bigger, a 4th or possible 3rd. but I doubt they do anything at all. I have no justification other than what can you get with a fifth other than a 50/50 gamble. If they move I think its a little bolder to justify the move.

I was thinking about a guy falling that they like from late 3rd, this always happen and I'd be targeting a WR given the huge depth there is

I would be shocked if they trade back for more picks or use next years picks to move up a few spots Makes very little sense.

I know many won't agree with this, but if I could get a plug and play OL early in 2nd round, I would trade my 2021 first rd pick.
I'd then use the 2nd and 3rd picks for best WR & RB available and use 4th rd picks for a NT & S. With those 5 positions filled
Steelers are in very good shape.

I am trying to clarify..... You want to trade the 1st round next year to move up to early in the 2nd round this year to land an OL selection.
All our other picks stay the same ..... thus we still pick again at 49 , 102,124,135,198,232
is this correct?

With limited picks I and not having a 5th I think the Steelers definitely listen when #49 goes on the clock. Takes two to tango but teams like Miami have lots of picks and are only 7 spots behind the Steelers. If there are 3 players you like at 49 I could see them trading back and getting 153 & 154 and rolling the dice that 1 of the 3 they like are still on the board.

unless the objext if Andrew thomas or Austin jackson are gona early rnd 2 and JT is there use a future rnd 3 to move up for him.

Next year we get our QB in the draft i think. If that's the case, they'll need those 10 picks to move up.

Rumour has it NE is willing to trade 3 3rd rounders ( 87, 100, x,) and one of their 5ths to move up the draft into the 2nd round.

There will be college football... too much money lost to those institutes, if there is no football.

But Yeah I will be willing to move up in the 2nd round by including next years draft pick.

I would consider a 4th next year for a 5th this year. Not sure we would see more than that.

Just for your information us ******* Canadians are always thinking about Beaver, vodka is a little further down the list:disillusionment:

I am sure you get in your kayak once a week and paddle across the border to get real beer......... truth be told I drink MGD and Coors......can't stand BUD but I love horses and I am amazed how they get the Clydesdales to fill their beer cans ..................... don't let Sask see this .........I think he is a Molson advocate

I am surprised Slash didn't come back with a request for German Schnapps

Snowed here yesterday for about 3 minutes........ warm weather on the way

If I am going German I have to throw down a tall glass of Erdinger Hefe-Weizen Dunkel.

Ex's Dad use to throw some Schnapps at me, man I would leave his house often feeling good!

AWESOME and I actually paddled in Nova Scotia waters. Had a great time and the BEER was good !!!!! We had wind / waves move in on us and the guide people had me help three paddlers into shore, about 12 miles worth but I got them there safely. I'm very experienced and it was beginner paddlers that had problems. LUCKY no one capsized but all in all it was a great day.

I loved the Canadians and the island. Rode over on the "BIG CAT" Catameran that did like 55mph from Bar Harbor took about (I think) 3.5 to 5 hours). IT HAD 2-20,000 HP MOTORS ON IT if I Remeber right. Totally amazing

Thanks for bringing back memories of 2011 canoe capsizing on the wife and I while in Vermont. Scary crap on a huge reservoir with drastic sudden weather change. Kind of put a damper on the trip we took just after my Dad passed. Beautiful state .... glad I made my trip to Pittsburgh last year ...... doesn't look so promising for a return trip until maybe next year.

I was considering making a HOF trip for Troy........ doubt that is happening
