Wesley's on-field prowess is intriguing to scouts but they also love the fact that he was a three-time Big Sky Conference outdoor 400-meter dash winner for the Bears. The four-year starter led the team in receiving his final two years, and was honored with second-team all-conference accolades each season. He caught 57 passes for 1,050 yards (18.2 average) and four scores in 2018 and posted similar numbers as a junior (55 catches, 1,010 yards, 18.4 average, six touchdowns). Wesley started nine games as a redshirt freshman in 2015 (17 catches, 282 yards, 16.6 average, two touchdowns) and all 10 contests the following fall (27 catches, 374 yards, 13.9 average, five touchdowns). He was an honorable mention All-State pick from Wylie High School in Murphy, Texas before signing at UNC.

Even in Northern Colorado’s game against Colorado last season, Wesley shook loose of 2018 second-round pick Isaiah Oliver for a long touchdown.

Wesley's future fit on an NFL roster seems like a clear one, a vertical threat who can also be used as a space player. Teams will want to use him to take the top of the defense, as well as get the ball in his hands on fly sweeps or screens.

sounds like a guy we could use to replace Eli. Good hands, speed, runs good routes.

What I find significant:

38.5" vertical
4.44 in the 20 yard shuttle but abysmal in the 3-cone drill

Not sure with a ****** cone you are putting him in the slot and a meh short shuttle. He has more long speed than quick short area speed. I would put him outside try him there.I like that he was productive two seasons in a row. Not a lot amount of catches but a damn nice average per catch shows his deep ability /possibilities.

They seem to like him at the senior bowl too, which usually gets the Steelers attention. A 5th/6th round flyer on him, sure I'd be game.

Definitely late round but you’ve got to be careful in route as a punter or kicker may block picking him. Maybe he goes earlier but 6~7 might be a specialist pick.
