Flights and tickets just aren't lining up for a return to Pitt which would be my first choice by far. KC has airmiles flights and face value tickets in the lowest part of the upper deck for my family. Has anyone ever gone to a game here? Any info is helpful.

Been there twice, both losses. :( Tailgating is a blast and I like the atmosphere in the stadium. If KC was ever good consistently, this would be one of the toughest places to play. Plenty of parking around the stadium too.

. Thanks, I told my sons this would be a tough game. KC plays well at home. Looked at Seatlle, but that is an even tougher game and the tix are ridiculous.

I went there a couple years ago, great stadium, great tailgating and atmosphere.

Hell, they were smart enough to sell beer on the ramps up to the seats.

I walked around with a few of teh KC cheerleaders who were selling calendars in teh parking lot for a while trying to convert them to Steeler fans.

Great place to go. For football and baseball. Easy access in and out. Miles of tailgating. Good fans.

Am probably going this year. Stay across street, Holiday Inn Sports Complex. When game is done, bar is packed for late games. Great time.

been there several times. The fans are only second to STEELER NATION !!!! Not a bad seat in the house.

Salute the nation

I have been there several times and all were a great time. I have tickets to this years game also and am so pumped for it! It will be My son's second Steelers game ever ... after attending his first in St. Louis this season :) Not sure about St Louis but there are always lots of Steeler fans at KC.

Thanks all, you are cementing my idea. You can't beat a home game, but this really sounds like the next best thing!!!!!

You mean you were out of your drunken stupor long enough to do that? :-) Now tell us what else you did with them....

Booked it all down. Rib sauce all over my face, a gallon of beer in my gut. GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think one of best games I saw from there on TV was in 1992 Steelers win 27 to three and Eric Green does the Tomahawk Chop after a touch down.

Well, who is all going to this year? Would be cool to meet some of you idiots. May even have a beer for ya.

One would assume you would have been banned from entering the city limits after your first visit.

I lived in Joplin Mo. for 12 years. Tailgating is great and helps you forget your watching the Chiefs. There is a town just east of the stadium called Independence. The Extended Stay is a good place to stay. If you want cheap, try Red Roof Inn. Several casinos in town, real good food. Need to get to the gates a half hour before they open (parking lot gates. Most seats in the stadium are good, but stay away from the very upper corners. The seats are smaller and the angle you look down at is steeper.

Thanks, we are staying at a hotel 1 mile from Arrowhead called Adam's Mark. They have a big indoor waterpark for the kids and not requiring parking etc will be great for the game. Get to enjoy a few beverages during the game and all.

We are in the first few rows of Section 328 which is upper level. The pictures of the seat views look good. I was lower level last year in Pitt, which was unbelievable when the action was close, but difficult to tell what was actually going on in the other end.
