The Steelers received good news as far as Antonio Brown was concerned today. As was expected, Brown was listed as a full participant today. Limited were Stephon Tuitt(Elbow), BJ Finney(Thigh), and Artie Burns who went down with a knee injury. More to come on Burns as soon as it’s available.

Light it up AB !

Tuitt left the building with his arm in a sling.

Sure but we have no depth after that. This means we will see too ******* many 2 DL sets if Tuitt can't play.

True. Yeah this sucks.

Yeah really, make it simple for him, just tell him to take the guy across from you and just push him as far into the backfield as you can, that's your job.

TOTALLY Coryea and if he can't do that then why have him here. I know there will be a drop off but if he can play in a simple form he has been strong enough to back a single guy up.
Might be just enough to disrupt.

Yeah really, it sucks if Tuitt can't go, AluAlu has been doing well, but the biggest thing that worries me if Tuitt can't go is our depth, it'll probably make us use alot of 2DL sets to keep guys fresh, we can't afford to do that vs their running game.

We would be seeing that **** even with Tuitt

Don’t forget about LT Walton Tom. He has produced when in the line up. He can help with the rotation and give Hargrove some snaps off.

Steelers CB Artie Burns (knee) expects to practice Thursday and suit up against the Jaguars.

Burns characterized the injury he suffered in practice Wednesday as a hyperextended knee. He said he will be limited in practice, but he expects to play on Sunday. Normally players are overly optimistic about their injuries, but returning to practice the day after suffering the injury would give credence to that optimism.

Oh yeah I like LT, but I don't know how much Tomlin/Butler will trust him in a playoff game, same goes for Big Dan.
With Cam, Hargrave, Tuitt, AluAlu that's a good 4 man rotation and they can all play any where in the line.

Tuitt had an MRI, everything checked out and he plans on playing per twitter

Jags LB's banged up?

Thursday update: Posluszny, Smith return

JACKSONVILLE – The Jaguars looked better at linebacker Thursday.

Jaguars starting middle linebacker Paul Posluszny and starting weak-side linebacker Telvin Smith, both of whom missed practice Wednesday, returned to practice Thursday.

Posluszny, who left last Sunday with what initially was reported as a hip injury, has been listed this week with an abdomen injury.

Smith, who missed two games with a concussion this season, missed Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury after playing the entire game against the Bills.

Marrone said linebacker Blair Brown, who sustained an ankle injury in practice Wednesday, could return to practice Friday and has not been ruled out for Sunday
