Another great thing about AB

Other than the play off game vs. Cinci, AB has the art of not taking a hit or being hurt down to a science. His body control and instincts allow him to barely ever miss time from injuries. And that is a huge part of being valuable in the NFL; if you aren't playing, nothing else matters.

LeVeon Bell also knows how to avoid direct hits when tackled, of course unless his knees are being targeted by dirty ******* in bengals uniform.

Bell gets hit from behind, while in traffic. AB is too slippery, even in congested areas. He gets down very quickly to avoid taking hits. Running backs can't go down that quickly and still be an effective back. But Bell better start anticipating when there is someone behind him, who will dive at the back of his legs.

he'll need rearview mirrors on his helmet. Brown is too fast to be caught from behind but Bell isn't that fast

I heard AB always eats his vegetables and finishes his homework before bed.

he wears my high school number. that's great

Bell is pretty fast; but running backs have to run in more congested areas, Browns makes grabs and gets down if there is too much traffic. That's why he is healthy every week.

LMAO. As long as you're not "in dept" to your English teachers.

Funny how you point out in one post that stupid theories are what message boards are for and then you turn around and become the message board grammar police.

So what is our word of the day?

Talking about AB on ESPN

On NFL Insiders, they were saying AB is heading to Pgh and he says his only focus is to get better as a player, and that his latest dancing stint will help him do that.

When asked about getting a new contract he said he wasn't worried about it, and that he'd love to be a Steeler forever, but he is only focused on the here and now.

Over all, just what we wanted to hear.

ESPN then speculated that the Steeler may shift a few mill over to him from next year's contract as they did last year, to keep him happy. They said the Steelers won't admit it, but they did that to appease him last year.

I would be fine with them doing that again. The dude is lights out. If you don't want to give him a whole new deal at this point, still find a way to make him one of the highest paid WRs in the league.

He is set to make about $8 mill (with salary bonus included), toss him a few more to have him make $10 mill.

Right now FIFTEEN WRs make more than he does. That just ain't right.

He got paid when he signed the contract. Sure, he has out grown it but he wasn't worth what he signed for at the time. I think they will and should shift some money to him like last year but they won't redo his contract until after this year. He will get paid again, then. My guess is he will be top 3, if not top paid WR in the game. That's a tough nut to swallow but there is no one better.

I say ship him a few million now or if he is pissed it might make negotiations difficult. On the free market he would command top 5 or so in the league right now.

Top 5? What 4 WRs deserve to be paid more? NO ONE. He is better than anyone, plus never has off-field issues, great teammate and locker room guy. Dez Bryant may have more skills (size, mostly) but which WR would you rather have on your team? Who is more valuable?
