Long time great offensive lineman Alan Faneca did not make the 2019 Hall of Fame Class. The former Super Bowl winner got snubbed in the eyes of any Steelers fan. It’s only a matter of time before the Steelers great gets inducted into Canton and can don a gold jacket.

Yeah he did get snubbed for Kevin Mawae who was good but not deserving over Faneca. Those ******* New York writers.

Weird..Law and Mawae are really good players. Definitely not HoFers to me...especially Law.

Mawae is every bit as deserving as Faneca, who should also be in, as Mawae was the consensus best center in the game for a long time.

Overall, there is a bias against interior linemen in the voting process. Dawson had to wait awhile, and it took Jerry Kramer forever to get in even though he was on the league's 75th anniversary team.

One positive about Faneca not getting in is that there's a great chance he and Polamalu go in together next year.

Troy should be a lock.

CONGRATS! You got that one right. Ground Hog's day comes but once a year.

But I think the anti-Pittsburgh basis with this they have too many players the HOF had something to do with it too. Ed's pitch could have been a bit better also.

Faneca is a better player than Mawae. We both agree on that one.

Maybe they will both get in next year. Law is a HOF player.

I met him a few times working on his house with my old company. Nice guy.

probably best he did not make it this year with all the drama happening within the organization...

Hopefully next year will be different....all things considered..

Sort of like leap year as it is with you and your prognostic views.

With Polamalu being a first ballot, Faneca may not make it in. Or he will and Troy won’t. Because of the said anti-Steeler bias, I’d be shocked if two Steelers are inducted at the same time. I don’t think there has been any two players from the same team inducted before.

Ed may be a fine journalist, but maybe it’s time for another writer to step in with more enthusiasm during pitches.

....i'm not worried about it. he'll get in eventually, even with this supposed "anti-steelers bias" *laughs*

what is this anti pittsburgh bias? you saying they won't take giants, packer, redskin, niners, rams or bears players because they have too many in the hall?
