The problem for Ward will be that all these WR's that will be up for the HOF played in passing offenses with top tier qb's and **** defenses for the most part.
Ward had a top 5 defense pretty much his entire career so they werent playing catch up alot, had a HOF running back on a run first team, and **** qb's until Ben got here

Ward has plenty if HoF numbers... he retired with top ten recieving numbers and is still top 15....
he was known as the most complete wr of his era.

Ward eventually gets in but there is a long backlog on wrs... it often takes a hof wr a decade to get there
