Alabama/Clemson Championship Game

That game showcased three potential prospects for the Steelers.

OJ -TE
Foster _ILB
Mike Williams -WR

I would be happy with any of the three.

if Rueben Foster is there when we pick and we don't take him, I'll **** a brick

A couple thoughts on the game.
1. Fantastic game. Lived up to the hype.
2. Great finish. Watson is a terrific college QB. His throwing motion is God awful. Don't think he translates to the pros. But by all means Cleveland.
3. Sick of Bama. Glad they lost. But what do you have to do to get an illegal pick called. Two of Clemsons TD'S were absolutely blatant.

Williams is the number one rated wr per Mcshay, we have no shot at him. Foster is a beast.
Clemson was the more well rounded team, Alabama had the D and the running game edge, but Clemson had the passing game for sure and that was what won it.

Great game! Alabama is super strong, but when they needed a quarterback, they could not pass it well enough. 31 attempts, just 131 yards. 4.2 yards per attempt. That " Hurts "

So according to the Bowl Selection Committee criteria, Alabama should be ranked #1 since championship games are meaningless and Alabama is certainly a much more popular team nationally that Clemson is. ;)

Watch out for Deon Cain in the 2018 draft. The kid has size and talent and will become the #1 WR for Clemson with Williams leaving

I was half watching the game and half not because I am a MI State fan, but did I hear the say that Watson graduated after only three years?

Yes, that's actually pretty common since players stay on campus all year and take summer classes.

Steelers have Shazier and Vince Williams. Why spend a high pick on an ILB?

i'd be more interested in OLB Ryan Anderson as a possible 2nd or 3rd rounder.

This is the pass rush draft. I am hoping for a 2 high picks at OLB or trade up for a stud.

I didn't even realize that Alabama lost their running back and I was watching the game.

I don't like it. Nevermind his ugly motion (I didn't even notice it). He's a natural leader, highly intelligent and a superior athlete with mental/physical toughness. All this bullshit from Herbstriet about Watson being "rattled" is bullshit. Frustrated, yes. But the kid was never rattled.

Cleveland's new management keeps making intelligent moves. Dumping bad players, creating cap space, stock piling draft picks, and retaining a good coach after a bad season. I don't like having Hue Jackson in our division. His players fight for him.

If this kind of team management continues we will have another contender in our division. The North is already crowded. So please, Cleveland, by all means take Mitch Trubiski with one of your first rounders. Watson will only complicate our lives further.

Very small sample but I thought his throwing mechanics were brutal. It seemed to me like he had the Leftwich dip and almost circled the ball into position. I might be seeing something that wasn't there but that was my impression.
