With 4 weeks to go: (record-division record)
Steelers: 7-6 / 3-1
Ravens: 6-7 / 2-2
Bengals 4-9 / 3-1
(e) Browns 3-10 / 0-4

Remaining Schedules:
Steelers:
Vs Miami
@ Detroit
@ Cleveland
Vs Ravens

Ravens
@ Cinci
Vs New England
@ Green bay
@ Pittsburgh

Bengals
VS Baltimore
@ Miami
Vs Arizona
Vs Cleveland
------------
So Cinci is still sort of in it, and have the easiest schedule.... but they either need to win out, have the Steelers finish 1-3 and the Ravens 2-2. This would give them the Tiebreakers in the division.
They could lose one non divisional game, have the steelers lose out and the Ravens go 1-3.

The Ravens are the biggest threats, but have the hardest schedule.
Obviously any scenario that puts them ahead in wins works (pit 2-2 Ravens 4-0, pit 1-3 Ravens 3-1, pit 0-4 Ravens 2-2)
In the case of a tie, the Ravens still absolutely would need one of their wins to be vs the Steelers to split the first tiebreaker(H2H). For the second (Division games) they would need to beat the Steelers and Cinci and have us lose to Cleveland to win it outright.
To tie they would have to beat Pit abd Cinci abd pit beats the Browns.

If it got to common games (it would have to be tied in divisional common games)
Vs - Pit - Bal
NE- -W- / -?-
Buf- -L- / -L-
Mia- -?- / -W-
Jets- -W- / -W-

GB- -L- / -?-
Chi- -L- / -W-
Min- -W- / -W-
Det- -?- / -L-

So right now they have the advantage in non divisional common games, but both teams have two left
For this scenario to be in play, the ravens had to beat the steelers and either both teams win or both teams lose their final division game... and have the same record in the other two games..since both other games for each team factor to this, if this tiebreaker comes in play, the ravens would win it.... ( which means my *** doesnt need to calculate SOV numbers this season 😀)

So that brings us to the Steelers... they get the division if:
-they win out
-the Ravens lose out and cinci loses 2 more
- any combo of steelers wins+Ravens losses = 4
And Steelers wins + bengals losses =2
-the ravens losing vs the Bengals, the steelers beating the browns plus any other Steelers win and a bengals loss
- the Steelers beating Cleveland and Baltimore

Steelers could easily go one and three. Mondays outcome should clarify what direction the team is ultimately going. A loss tells me they likely aren’t ending well…

What makes the Rats schedule extra tough is that only one of their games is at home.
Very nice.
Sad that the Steelers have to hope for their demise being ahead in the division. Tells you the state of the team.

I had hoped for their demise when the season started LOL, but I understand what you’re saying.
It sucks to having to always root for other teams to fail so you can make the playoffs.
Also known as “backing into the playoffs”.

How I think we end up.
Our record shows we some and lose some so 2-2 seems the most logical.
From most likely to least likely.

2-2
3-1
1-3
0-4
4-0

3-1 in second place because we have the capability of beating 3 of those teams.
Between 0-4 and 4-0 I had to think about it the most.lol

We are in such familiar territory like we’ve been for such a long time.
Think about it…. Does anyone here really think this team can even win one playoff game?
No, what will happen is another middle of the pack draft position. Never good enough to really compete but never bad enough to get a top 5 or 10 draft pick.
Teams like the Pats, Broncos, Colts, Texans and others have already sunk to lower depths, got premium picks and rebuilt, and now got back near the top.
We on the other hand stay right smack in the mushy middle. It’s going in circles that’s all.
Poor ownership, lack of direction and absolutely zero identity and poor team culture.
Not a team leader to be found. Fat boy Hayward is still mad about Josh Allen kneeing him in his fat stomach. Teams a ******* joke!
All led by clown Tomlin!

That, plus I don't see the Bungles winning out.

It's not like Shades would know what to do with a high draft pick anyway since he does such a poor job of hiring coordinators and assistants.

We’ve been there, so no sympathy for the rats…….

Broderick Jones as an example.

We are still where we aren't supposed to be. And by that I mean every expert had us finishing last in the division. We should enjoy the fact we are competing at this point, and have no expectations.

If you don't think like that this team will make any fan want to jump off a bridge.

It's all gravy. That's the way I see it, till Tomlin is gone.

What experts had the Browns over the Steelers?

Not me. I had us finishing second behind the Rats, Stains last as usual, and the Bungles third because Burrow would get hurt again and miss some games.
If only I had that kind of luck picking Powerball numbers.

This was before the season started of course, and I shouldn't have said every expert, but many of the big name talking heads had us in the basement.

All in all we are still doing better than most expected which was last, or second to last.

"220-221 whatever it takes."

Powerball has variance
Unlike the Steelers which know 2 sets of numbers
9-8 or 10-7

Much harder to predict powerball since there are more than 2 possible results

It depends who we play. If we play someone with a pass rush the O-line can protect Rodgers from....anything can happen. The defense is going to bend as far as bend can go, but maybe we can hang if the GOAT has time to matriculate the ball.

Problem is they need to get hot at the right time to accomplish that. This is the right time.

So far all we have seen is:

possibility.

The only possibility hinges on Smith's offense putting up points at will. Sooner or later this defense will shat the bed.

We have gone the whole season 15 weeks or whatever thinking we will see more and more of this offense.. Thinking that it will get better and better.
Some games earlier we could run the ball. Now we cant. The passing game is hit or miss. I still dont understand what Smith is doing.. I have kept on thinking ill get it sooner or later.. Sooner or later it will all come together. It hasnt. Not yet. It's possible i guess ,, but my paitence has worn thin.
He has to put this offense together to run smooth and take advantage of Rodgers skills, and be able to run the ball.

Tonights possibility also hinges on stopping Achan.
Anyway enjoy the game guys.
