Outside of the Browns, the AFC north has been one of the most stable coaching grouos in the NFL
That may well be changing

Our top firing contender is obviously Hue Jackson in Cleveland... With the loss today , Hue is three consecutive losses away from the worse all tim HC record... the only one worse was an owner who technically couldn’t be fired
He has been around three seasons now. The browns gutted their team for him... pushed out quality players for his guys... fired their gm... basically they scrapped everything and he is still shirking blame and bus throwing players and coaches
This is their bye week so it makes logical sense to fire him now if they are going to in season

Number 2 on the list is the everlasting gobstopper of mediocre coaches Marvin Lewis... if they had lost that game yesterday his seat would be a lot worse, but he is unpopular with the fans and has no real playoff success to fall back on... he should be safe as long as they stay in the hunt, but any faltering may well make the skinflint mike Brown finally pull the trigger

Number 3 is Harbaugh in Ravens world....isn’t exactly in danger yet, and unlike the two above mentioned coaches he does have a super bowl to his name.... but fans have started to turn on him... they had high expectations but if they were to lose at home to us next week, would be below 500 more than halfway through the season... missing the playoffs would turn up the heat in tge offseason

Finally we have Coach Tomlin... his seat is warm at best even when we started poorly, and barring an Epic collapse or serious off field incident he is in little danger of being fired... but a ton of fans have turned on him as well as a lot of media guys... his rep isn’t as great as it has been and another disappointing postseason or missing the playoffs may put him squarely on the hot seat next season....

I'm surprised ole' Marvin is still around.
Surely the Bengals want better

Baby steps as they just changed their team song

I am thinking just Hue is on the bubble.

As the other teams win just enough IMO not to get canned.

Fire Haley!

Meet the new Browns.

Same as the old Browns

And the Factory of Sadness continues...they will turn Mayfield into the next Tim Couch

Better costs money. Mike Brown is loathe to spend money.

Exactly. Marvin will never be on the hot seat. Mike Brown is happy with mediocre if he doesn't have to spend a lot of money and Marvin is happy to have a no pressure job and cash his paycheck. Marvin isn't leaving until Marvin wants to leave, especially when he's still under contract. Marvin could go 0-16 and not get fired if he's under contract because no way no how is Mike Brown going to pay two head coaches. I'm sure someone else would take the job but no quality HC candidates would want to work for Mike Brown. Marvin is the best HC that will ever work for Mike Brown and Marvin and Mike both know this.

I can see Hue Jackson getting fired this week. The likely replacement would be Mrs. Haley's husband, which is probably why they hired him and also why Hue Jackson keeps reminding people that he's the head coach.

Hairball might get fired after the season depending how they finish, but his team is still a little hamstrung on signing talent because of Flacco's big contract and the team probably knows this.

I'm fire Hue, promote Haley and see what happens. Haley can't be much worse than 2-35-1.

Toddster did okay with KC, which is another team with ****** up ownership and front office.

If I didn't know any better, you think Marvin's last name must be Brown.

Good point but I keep Hue on for three more losses that way he can claim worst record W/L of any NFL coach all time. At least that way he'd be known for something................and
the BROWNS would be famous.

not in Pittsburgh and Cincinatti.

I mean that really hasn’t happened in either tomlin or cowhers era.... cowher missed three times and his seat got awfully hot... even in 03 after two years that both included playoff wins there was ample talk of firing him for four misses in six years.

Noll missed four straight in the eighties but he had earned a chance to rebuild.... none of the coaches in this discussion are on Nolls level

I don't see the point in firing a coach mid-season. Especially to promote Haley. It isn't as if the clowns were a great team and this coach screwed it up. They've been horrible for years now. I don't think any other coach is on the hot seat except for Hue this season.

Last six Cleveland coaches fired after a Steelers loss
