Steelers' wide receiver room will have a much different look to it in 2019 than it had in 2018. But the Steelers aren't lacking confidence in the group.

AB, JuJu, Washington,Switzer, Rogers, Heyward- Bey and Hunter
versus
JuJu, Moncrief,Washington, Johnson, Switzer, Rogers and Heyward-Bey

We just got a lot younger, Moncrief brings the size/ speed element, JuJu becomes the lead dog, Washington takes a step forward, Johnson and Switzer battle for return duties, Rogers remains for depth and maybe Heyward-Bey still provides leadership on a vet minimum for special teams.

AB will be a big loss in production but I think they can compensate a fair amount of it with Moncrief, Johnson and using V. McDonald more.
You can't double team everyone-- Ben will just have to spread the ball around and use his young RBs as well.
Argue that you can't replace ABs production if you want but I strongly believe it is harder to replace a quality QB who can deliver the ball than the person on the receiving end of it at the pro level.

Not sure teams will feel the need to try to double team anyone, but might try JuJu out for size. The supporting cast will need to be up to the task, and Ben will need to spread that ball around more. Which I think he will now that big turd is gone.

Also you have two RBs that can pass catch. Will help as well........................

As long as we have #7 we are good. Ben made AB and if you don’t believe me look at his stats without him. Plus now we can spread the ball around more without some guy with an ego pouting every time he didn’t get the ball thrown his way.

I think you have to change the entire philosophy. I think you have to focus o the run, move the ball, distribute the ball, own the clock and field position. Most importantly play defense and win the turnover battle. And let's be honest. Besides the cover of fantasy football magazines and Madden, what did the 40 points per game philosophy get this team. And the two years it won the SB what did the offense look like.

We have to make sure that no team can stack 8-9 men in the box against our offense and stop us. We also have to make sure they don't disrespect our running game. Balance is important to this team and that's why Snell got drafted as insurance for Conner. After he got hurt besides the Pats game, we didn't run the ball all that well. Having another bull in the backfield gives us a huge insurance policy if Tomlin runs the wheels off Conner.

On offense there's just no way to know how we replace AB's numbers. It won't be done by one person and you can bet that the attention defenses paid to him will be given to Juju now. Someone has to step up to get open and catch the damn ball. I won't get hung up on #1 WR designations. The Pats have won too many times without having a top tier WR. If that's the stance our FO is taking, that we can go at it on offense with a bunch of receivers that can just get open and catch the ball, then lets get it done.
