Adam Sheffer of ESPN is reporting that Shamarko Thomas is on the trading block.

I'll speculate. After Tomlin all but said Thomas is too stupid to play, his agent must be pissed.
Can a trade happen?
I think Thomas is short and lacks ball skill too, but let's move on from the obvious and statistical data on his lack of plays in college and as a pro vs the pass.
Its not like we have good safeties right now, so being 3rd string is pretty terrible.
Thomas is #3 on the depth chart behind Will Allen ( Allen will be 34 next season ) a career back up safety, and Golden who's best know for special teams play.
The Steelers traded their 3rd round pick ( mid 3rd round ) to select Thomas. Bad move.
What could we get for him now? He's signed this season and next season.
I'll guess some team would take him for a 6th or 7th.
