Gilbert has me a little perplexed. The TEAM must have made a wrong decision on time frame to heal. Our back up has made this NOT a glaring decision so there is that. Gilbert is running out of time as NOT practicing means NOT game shape which factors in to the available time vs season left.

Trust me DIC, the Steelers have the best medical staff in the league. Not everything is perfect with rehab. I hear rumors that he had a procedure done during the bye week. He may have tweaked the healing process, trying to push to get back. It may be worse than they initially diagnosed? Not sure, but knees can be a ***** sometime.

FULLY AGREE Cope, Their medical is some of the best in the USA / World. Something happened out of their predictability weather in rehab or Gilbert privately etc.. I've had a knee scoped way back when scope was relatively new and my rehab went way above and beyond as my physician said I gained back 135%. I'd have all natural bionic knee this day and age.
