By G.Stryker: Stephon Tuitt suffered an elbow injury in the game against Carolina. He had an MRI on Tuesday and did not practice all week. *He and Marcus Gilbert have been ruled out of this week’s game James Conner went through concussion protocol with flying colors. *The extra time off had to help his situation. Cope, I realize you KNOW your chit but I'm going to have to disagree with you on Hunter over Washington. I think with the lesser Jag's that they are trying to get Washington some game experience. I'm just going off of a little twinkle gut feeling so no rocket science proof here.

Thanks for all the work you put into this !!!!

I think Washington gets a hat as well. He was 2/5 vs Baltimore and one of them was more of what I was expecting from him. I would take my chances with him over Hunter

Justin Hunter is my inactive. Do you think Washington should be inactive? i'm just trying to fully understand your point, and it's always cool that we think differently on these!

I think he saw Washington's name in there and either though Washington was the inactive or enough of a possibility that he should mention it.

I agree on Washington getting a hat, he needs to continue to grow. And being on the field is the preferred way..

I agree he needs to get some experience, though the Steelers are giving him more rope than any young receiver they've ever had. His productivity through 9 games is putrid. In 8 games played (Starting 4) he has 7 receptions for 66 yards. No plays over 20, which is what he was drafted for. His long is 14 yards.

Last game, he had more snaps than JuJu and not a single target. He's not getting open, and it's not even close at this point. His route running is sloppy. He's wasting motion in and out of his breaks, and he can't get separation deep.

Right now, the difference between Limas Sweed and Washington, is Limas could get open deep, he just couldn't catch it.

I'm not coming down on you at all Slash, I'm just a bit frustrated with Washington, and his unrealized potential at the halfway point of this season.

Is there any info on Tuitt about severity? I agree for a few weeks it's ok. Alualu is a capable replacement, but in the long run you need Tuitt. And not playing with a full brace and one arm like last year. He can take over in parts of a game at full strength.

****, I miss read Cope,.........WASHINGTON ACTIVE, Hunter Inactive.............. When I was a second grader at country school (only 2 kids in second grade) my teacher wrote on my report card........need to read more, low comprehension........so that's my only defense.....

Yes went back and read again and we are on the same page and also having a good chuckle out of the deal.
