There was a lot of speculation today about Antonio Brown‘s absence from today’s practice. Many thought this tweet had something to do with AB skipping work today. Trade me let’s find out https://t.co/4OeepI78zy — Antonio Brown (@AB84) September 17, 2018 Did anyone actually believe AB wanted to be traded? Come on, now. Thankfully, Adam Schefter […]

Good to hear and information settles many a people down, including me. This doiesn't exemplify him of his DEVA actions but gives us a little insider's look.

Or the agent is deflecting and AB wasn't excused. And came up with some cockamamie bullshit to try to cover and move on.

Damage control spin. Doesn't matter. The issue is defense, stale old worthless scheme and coaching. The offense scores plenty of points to win games. It's only half a decent team. It ain't the damn offense that's for sure. If AB wants even more targets(which is more than anyone in the league) He should go iron man and play on defense as well. You know pick off a bunch of passes and run them back.

AB had his feelings hurt and skipped a day. Why not....Bryant seemed to do it weekly when he was here. Bell came and went when he wanted. Harrison slept through meetings. Just imagine the stuff we didn't/haven't heard about. This team is missing something. I don't know if they will ever find with Tomlin in charge. And that is very infortunate. Seems he will be here for a while.

I'm beginning to wonder if a total collapse might be what this team needs to let management realize how poorly this team has been coached. The problem is that Tomlin can probably survive 2 - 3 losing seasons before his seat gets hot.

Consider for a moment that Bell and undisclosed coaches missed the walkthrough before the AFC Divisional game last year and Coach Shades had nothin' to say about that.

Yeah, who wants to be the one to tell james Harrison he has to wake up?

I don't really care too much about him having a baby fit and acting like a poor sport for a little while. Those things happen.

I just hope he doesn't lie about it and tell the media that it was a 'protest' about some perceived injustice that's never affected his life. And I hope he doesn't get a bunch of idiots to take his side and convince him he's a hero for acting like an *******.

James Harrison was a pro and hard worker with a chip on his shoulder. You think he changed who he was. I tend to think he couldn't handle the unprofessionalism from top to bottom on this **** show of a team and finally said f it. He went from a team made of pros that had team goals and pride to being benched for players with less talent and straight up *****. Players missing meetings no accountability. At what point do say the hell with it. Which he ultimately did.

The undisclosed coach was surprisingly Jerry Olsavsky

Ummm......Sure.

AB is a diva. But he also comes to play and then man wants to win.

My opinion is he’s frustrated they are not winning and just how pitifully they find ways to lose. He can’t throw the defense ominder the bus.. but I’d feel confident he’s frustrated. And if the coaches don’t fix things soon I think we are going to see more of these types of outbursts.

Brown's agent is a bull **** artist earning his percentage of Brown's contract. Brown wants Ben Roeth to throw into double coverage for his personal stats. I call that being a selfish prick. I'm sure Ben looked at films of the Brownies game and decided that ain't gonna fly any more.
How about being a team guy AB? Effin' cry tit.

One of the big problems is the budding super star in JuJu. Brown has always been the big dog and there never was someone capable of running the entire route tree and usurping Brown but JuJu is that guy and the first real threat to an alpha dog.

He cares more about stats and TDs than he does winning.

Why is this crazy talent so disfunctional??? I think it's a question of just a few. STARTS with Coach Tomlin not being very diciplined himself yet alone the players. Coach Porter who has always been a mouthy player and coach (proven in cinci game) so the players see that and think it is OK. Add in M.Bryant totally ignoring everything yet it took near murder for dicipline to be administered. To name a couple the two big ones are LevMEon Bell and Antonio Brown. They are disruptive in a team fashion way as opposed to Ben's drama queen stuff. I'm sure it's a quick sand affect as once it start to consume you there is no getting away from it. It starts at the top and NOW can only be reversed from the top. Player leadership is to far gone to make any impact as it is going to need something big. Maybe a top coaching change along with a complete defensive coach sweep.

Drew Rosenhaus makes it sound like no big deal, yet Tomlin told the media he'd talk with Brown about it. You don't need to talk to a guy who was excused from practice.

Is that why he pulled himself out of a game multiple times that they had a chance to win? Or mopes off the field after Ben scored?

Exactly, Tomlin wouldn't say he's going to talk to him if it were an excused absence.

Well, the agent´s message is pretty clear - no issue here. I believe Brown is the least issue on this team... We are damn blessed to have such an incredible player on the team, social media / megalomania put aside, that just comes with the business I guess. Juju wouldn´t be open that much if other teams wouldn´t be so scared about AB killing them.

But yes, pesonally I prefer the Juju or James kind of players by far. Do your job, stay humble, stay out of trouble...

Well, did the whine bag show up for practice Tuesday?

Tuesday are off days for players. Wednesday’s are normally first padded (shells) practice days of the week.
