AB just asked Raiders to release him (and the Raiders Release him)

I hope they don't give him his wish, this nut thinks that he can whine his way into whatever he wants. This is worse than my 5 year old.
I thought he was sorry and contrite and playing on Monday?
at this point.. If I were raiders.. I WOULD suspend him for first game.. That way they can get out from under that 30 mill, anytime they want this season for any reason. After he is TOLD he wont be guaranteed that money if the raders suspend him,, he goes and apogizes etc.. Raiders say ok,, all forgiven,,, NOW he pulls this "Release Me" ****. He is Definitely angling for something... release , trade , etc.. or he is insane.
You’d be surprised.. I could see Panthers or maybe 49ers.

It’s already void. That’s why he’s asking for his release.. they fined him for conduct detrimental this morning which means no guaranteed money.

Even if he went to another team, there is no way they would guarantee him 15 million. So if he can't behave for that, he sure isn't going to play for 1 mil.

ok,, well im wong then I gotta take shefters word over Steven A. I guess. Hes more NFL savvy.
As I understand it, he is still under contract. Raiders hold all the cards as to what to do with him.
I guess they could entertain a trade, but hard to believe anyone would want this in their locker room.
I wonder if its his plan. Orchestrated by the Cheats.
Maybe he’ll be disruptive there too and hurt this season.

Here's an interesting angle. AB went after Mayock.
That GM has a huge ego as well. He's been putting AB to task all season and is fed up with his ****. I can see him ******* AB for this, because the Raiders aren't into treating their players like family (from an ownership perspective), like the Steelers are. Here's what I would love to see.
Week 1: Suspend him, voiding his guarantees.
Week 2: Submit the 5 day sheet to Rosenhaus. If AB doesn't show in 5 days to play week to week football, he forfeits the ablity to play in 2019. No playing anywhere else, no recourse, nothing.
Mayock could do this, it doesn't cost them a thing and it hurts AB the most - taking money and playing time from him. Plus it makes sure no one can use him this season. Next season, he is still under contract and they can lather, rinse, repeat this whole process, unless AB grows the **** up. And the topper, Mayock is the GM and can refuse any trade offer, just to **** AB.
AB is a liar, a bad team mate, and a terrible person. He deserves every ounce of what he gets from Mayock. He picked the wrong fight with the wrong dog.
