I would love to see points off turnovers for this team over the last 5 years and correlate it to the turnovers. To me and my annectdotal eye regardless of where the turnover occurs the defense is giving up six. Virtually every time.

Agree...the defense needed to step up at least one time...not like the TO's were on the 10 yard line

The defense kept us in this game while the offense turned the ball over and **** the bed repeatedly. Never mind our best DL hasn't played in a couple weeks.

I don't think after a turn over the opposing offense scores every time. It may seem that way but your frustration may be showing a ting. OUR defense kept us in this game. They can't stop offensive turn overs which if not happened would have probably given us 17 more points on the board. SORRY

The defense needs to make a play once in a while too. There is no play makers on that side of the ball.

I'm not talking about how good the defense played or whether it was their fault. I'm saying the Packers got stopped on 4th down at mid field. They have up a field goal. I. Saying if that is the Steelers it's a major almost certainly.

They can't stop offensive turnovers but they don't have to give up points just because the ball is turned over. Ben's first int. gave them the ball at the Pit 43 yard line. Hold them to a FG instead of giving them a TD in 2 plays.

Hell Conner's fumble just gave them the ball at their own 21 yard line. No reason for them to go 79 yards in 11 plays for a TD. Why does the fumble make this automatically a score?

BOTTOM line is our "D" did enough to win this game.

Of course they did. They did their part. No less and NO MORE. But sometimes a group has to pick up the other group. They didn't. Next play after the Grimble fumble the ball got knocked 15 ft in the air. That has to be an int. And you cant give up a td virtually every time you turn it over. If it happens inside your own 35 ok. But c'mon. They have to start creating turnovers themselves too.

D still gave up 24. It isn't that alarming. But they are not showing enough to think that their play can limit enough to help bring home a championship. They like the sloppy O has work to do.

We left 19+ points on the field. Blocked FG, TD fumble, Conner fumble, Ben INT. The defense isn't the problem.

I hear what you are saying and YES the "D" can and needs to play better but also the fact they did their part. This is a frustrating loss as both sides of the ball didn't seem as focused as previously played games. It's like the warning from the beginning of the season turn around has worn off and players are going back to the me me me attitude to some degree.

Not the problem but part of the problem. They aren't creating turnovers. In a pass happy league you better be able to do that. And I still question their pass D. The Pats, Chargers, and Saints. Will shed light on this. Just how far they have or haven't come.
