Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus wowed the crowd, his teammates and even himself on Friday during the team’s training camp practice when he nailed a 73-yard field goal from the left hash mark.

Impressive.

Where's the "RANDOM" drug test................... oh wait, this wasn't in a game. Hope the dude don't make 6 in a game or his steroid *** will be tested.

Kyle Boller could throw a field goal from his knees, behind the 50 yrd line.

They do sell marijuana legally in that state..lol

just saying..

If he was on MJ during that kick, he would have been looking for some Doritos before the plant foot hit.

God I miss the Boller days. That was a Renaissance of Steelers *** kicking the Ratbirds. Flacco has it. Boller was anti clutch. I always wanted to see the 50 yard throw though. It difies logic really. You would lose so much power and even trajectory. Never got that.

Did he make that kick with a FG rush? Kicking for distance in practice has always been different than doing it in a game. Still impressive leg strength though.

I'd be ecstatic if our kicker could hit a 55 yarder...

All that stuff doen't mater as what was really important was the bragging rights to the story. The ratturds couldn't win much but most of their fans had the story recital down pat. I can't Remeber the ratburd poster who use to recite that bullshit story if you questioned his team's ability on anything....

I remember when he did that before he was drafted. I thought to myself, this guy is going to be terrible. And that was before the Ravens got him!

Full field. Easily. First 100 yard fg ever made

Or how about a kick from the 1-yard line....backed up 7 yards, and going the distance. 108 yard FG

And while I'm talking kickers, a tip of the hat to Morten Andersen for 25 years played and one heck of a hall of fame speech.

Personally, I think he benefited a lot from kicking in domes, and warm weather stadiums and our very own Gary Anderson was slightly better as he kicked the majority of his games in cold weathered out door stadiums.

The Steelers have not reissued Gary's #1 jersey number, so there's hope he can make the hall of fame one day too.

Gary will make the Wall of Honor but it will be awhile before he is inducted into the HOF. Look how long Morten had to wait. I do want G.Anderson in but reality is kickers are looked upon as an essential. Not a reinvent the game type players. COACH you are right about Morten having kicked inj WAY better conditions than Gary and thus his total points.

PS. I think Gary Anderson had a perfect, non-miss season. Did Morten ever have such a season??

Was that the season he missed the game winner in the NFCC game for Minnesota against Atlanta? That Vikings team was fantastic to watch.

When it comes to kickers and punters, the hall of fame has shifted its views a bit. The best 1-2 of the decade deserved to be enshrined. Gary Anderson was an all decade selection for the 1980's and 1990's.

Gary is 2nd all time in the NFL points, list, had a perfect season on extra points and field goals ( Never done before in the NFL ), 2nd all time in field goals made, 2nd all time in games played, and played in 4 pro bowls.

I'd say he's worthy.
