BING! Now who's your quarterback?

This was SUPPOSEDLY designed specifically for Kaepernick.

This was the only think that would keep Kap on the team. That's the line I've heard.

Kap has all the tools Chip likes to run his up tempo spread, and he's run similar offenses at Nevada and under coach Harbaugh.

The bigger questions are who's gonna catch run and tackle. That team lost most of it's talent over the last 2 seasons.

I can hear circus music playing in the background as I read this thread!

Do we know if they interviewed any minority candidates? Is Lovie Smith making the rounds? I just see white coaches getting hired.

derpity-derp-derp, a'derp-derpa-derpin'

So let's see, the Niners ran a guy out of town because his personality was completely abrasive with everyone in the front office. And now they hire a guy who is completely abrasive with all of his players. Makes sense.

Chip Kelly is the greatest guys... I hope our front office targets all the guys he doesn't want and trades for them... we might not play them but sometimes he seems to give away all pros for fish sticks and imaginary unicorns... Maybe they have a few more CBs to ditch, or a safety... Does Reggie Bush fit his "mold" ... I need to get a 9'rs roster and peruse it like a shopping list... we have a mediocre qb he must be salivating over in Jones...

Yeah this one is puzzling. Guess any team post hairball will have explainable actions going on. Kelly? That is a real stretch.

Is really kaep worth that contract? Even with Kelly's offense? I don't think so

Hell yeah. With Kelly and Garrett coaching, the record should be safe for the foreseeable future. I'd rather the good guys add a 7th this year just to be safe though.

I bet Gabbert is his guy at QB, as he played in a similar offense at Mizzou, everyone is thinking Kaep, but I'm going to put my money on Gabbert.

Kaepernick is an idiot, and will never be able to run Kelly's offense. Time to cut and move on.

Agreed, but Kelly thought he could make his offense go with Bradford. I thought, not a chance!

He's got a total rebuild in San Fran.

Giants and Bucs promote their OCs. Mularky is the favorite to stay in Tennessee. Eagles hire Pederson. Not a lot of exciting new coaches hired this offseason.

BREAKING: Chip Kelly Trades Entire 49ers Organization For A Corn Dog
SANTA CLARA, CA – Chip Kelly was fired after three years from his first NFL gig as Eagles head coach just a few short weeks ago, and as of Thursday afternoon, the Oregon fan boy has a new job, all the way across the country in the bay, as 49ers head coach.

After a thorough search, Trent & I are thrilled to announce Chip Kelly as the new#HeadCoach of the @49ers— Jed York (@JedYork) January 14, 2016

The team has not yet held an induction press conference for Kelly and he is already making moves. According to sources inside the 49ers team, he has traded the entire organization to St. Louis for a corn dog. Along with the corn dog figures to be a few pick, likely in the 4th or 5th round. Those sources also say they are being traded buy Chip as well. According to those close with the coach, the juicy, succulent wiener wrapped with that fluffy golden brown breading was just too much to resist for the 52-year-old.

Sources haven’t confirmed exactly which corn dog Chip chose yet, but it was likely it was made in Oregon.

Kelly is known for his fast pace offense that catches the defense off guard with pure speed and play calling dynamics. The Eagles averaged a play once every 23.1 seconds of possession under Kelly, which is only 4 seconds longer than it takes for Kelly to actually consume a corn dog.

No word yet on the reaction from the 53 man roster and the rest of the coaches, personal, trainers, and management alike, but they’ll likely address the issues during media availability Friday.
