basically say the Sean Davis compensation pick is right on the boarder. "Over the Cap" has been right in the past and predicts it's going to just make the cut but nothing is solid until the official picks come out.

Sean Davis' head is to big.

I originally thought it might be a suspect pick. At least we know who to blame if it doesn't come about.

I'm surprised $13M/yr for Hargrave's contract doesn't merit a 3rd rounder. It should. That is a prime contract.

Sean was the best. We get a 6th for losing him in FA, then get him back at zero penalty since he was cut by WTF. The Ravens are masters at doing this. It's always why they have a ton of comp picks each year.

Picking up cut players doesn't count agains the comp pick formula, even though they are FAs.

Maybe our guys will catch onto this in the future. Like the article says there is great impact that the Dolphins had on this compensation picks awarded. Because of on average, plus the highest cap number to date $199mil it allowed the Dolphins to make moves and spend causing average contract value to go up thus lowering the compensation pick value (Hargrave example).

Until final comp. picks are issued we will not know for sure.

Well the reduced cap in 2021 should balance it out a little this year. Considering Dupree (even with knee issue) should give us a 2022 third comp., JuJu possibly a third and minimum fourth, Feiler, Hilton and/or Sutton a fifth. Connor and Villanueva if he doesn't retire might cancel out potential signees by Pittsburgh

Yeah its weird... a player like hargrave could be canceled out by a simular tier free agent even one with significant money difference so they say

The NFL is giving out comp picks for hiring minorities. I don’t think anyone knows to who or how many.

It’s pure bs, and I wonder if we get anything for having one of the first female trainers.

I meant to ask someone if these were comp picks above the normal ones or if these cut into the same limited pool... if its the latter... then the nfl pa should throw a fit.. teams already game the system trying to maximize comp picks... its going to be brutal if there is even less of a allowed number tied to the free agent pool
