Pretty groovy beans Cope, thanks for doing this as it is a great source of information.

Salute the nation

Dotson and TE arevshort term injuries according to Tomlin.

Thanks Sask. I saw that yesterday. Good news for Dotson, as he may be the starter next year, he needs all the reps he can get.

Also I don't track everyone. I will for covid, but usually if it's a fringe player, I don't track their progress as they are very unlikely to make the roster. Only rostered players from last year, drafted players, and established free agents brought in.

Thank you, but I meant have you heard when or if he is to return. Thought maybe you knew, as I hadn't heard a thing.

I haven't heard a thing, and such is the case with IR players. The first thing you will hear is them being activated and someone being demoted to the PS. They also usually happen on Tuesdays to prepare for practice that week starting on Wed.

Wiz practiced yesterday. Steelers evidently can have players practice before removing them from IR. You have 21 days to roster them from their first practice, otherwise they revert to season ending IR.

This is a good sign though. He had to sit out 3 games, and he did that. If he's able to go, the Steelers may be waiting until Fri/Sat to activate him and drop Derwin Gray, so it has the least potential chance of losing Gray since gameday rosters will pretty much be set across the league.

Getting Wiz back would be huge for us right now. Gives us flexibility on the OL and we can use the jumbo formation with more experience. Even if he is still another week away, thats ok too.

How long does it take to activate someone off IR? I mean can they do it game day? Or is there like a 3 day wait, or a 10 day covid wait? etc.

Also Gilbert needs added to spread sheet.

Thanks for the work and the updates Cope.

Thanks Bleeder, I also do the daily reports, so sometimes I'm working so hard to get them out, that I forget to update the XLS. I've been better at doing both at the same time lately.

Has Spillane already been practicing? Same with Feiler. Tomlin indicated in presser they may be back this week. But idk if they are just now able to start practicing or if they already have been practicing.

Williamson indicated Spillane's return also.
