2016 Steelers Color Rush

Eh---black on black would be cool. But its not Steeler-esque

No, however, it looks a lot better than some of the color rush **** other teams wore last season.

It does. Especially the black on black. Personally I think I will be fond of them if thats a similar leak. Guess we'll have to wait and see

I saw a leak that the Colts will wear all white, so that does leave the Steelers to wear all black. Looks awful.

rumored NFL color rush for each team.

We have seen some terrible concepts for a alternative jersey but this is by far the best. I really want us to use the 1967 jersey I feel if it is on team store they must have intent to bring it for a game perhaps next year 50 years since they last wore it, the 1960s 75 year anniversary were great except for the helmets the jerseys were superb block lettering and greats leave pattern. I would love to see this concept in the pic vs Dallas.

The lions are wearing red???

It is like for most teams they took the lesser color scheme and made that the dominate color, With the Lions they were only one color, so they just threw darts at a color wheel for that one.........

The lions are wearing red???

I googled a bit, apparently at one point in the 40s they had a former Indiana U coach as their coach and they wore the maroonish color that the hoosiers do.

Think this-

Also this is an interesting tidbit-

Since the time NFL began its current alignment in 2002, no team from the AFC North can play a Thanksgiving Day game against the traditional hosts. This is because under the current rotation, the Cowboys and the Lions each play AFC North teams in years that FOX is scheduled to broadcast its Thanksgiving Day game, requiring an NFC opponent. To date, the last game to feature an AFC North team was the Lions matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1998. AFC North teams can play in the prime time game, as the Cincinnati Bengals did in 2010.

color rush sucks...the league needs to stop ******* everything up

It's the new generation of football. Sucks, but it is what it is. More marketing from Nikes side, and my guess is the Steelers caving in

Do more people watch because of it? Are they even selling the jerseys? The only buzz that I've seen is that almost everyone hates it, so I guess maybe people tune in for that aspect.

I dig those jerseys though...damn.

Barf. Another "tradition" from the Goodell factory of stupid.

Why anybody over the age of 25 buys a jersey is beyond me, waste of money.
