0-2-1

But let's be honest here. If the team was 0-14-1, you'd be on here saying "but guys, we're not 0-15-1 yet, let's just chill... "

I highly doubt at that point people would be in a wait and see mode. They would be more about wanting changes, and calling for it.

Highly disagree here...........

TOTALLY agree because right NOW people are calling for change.......... At 014-1 this place would be a ghost town.

Coach

... This defense will not stop anyone. We need LBers.. we need three of them...as far as im concerned Watt is the only LBer worth keeping...rest needs upgraded.

We also need a true NT.... 3 LBers and a NT will turn this defense around....

This was painfully obvious last year. We needed 3 linebackers, a safety, and a nose tackle.
We got Bostic, who I'm not ready to kick to the curb yet. I think he looks like a go-getter. We should have done more.
Keeping Vince Williams as a starter shows that mediocrity is acceptable. Keeping Bud Dupree on the roster and giving him all that money shows that someone is just ******* stupid.
Having 2 rookie safeties (how long does Davis get to be a rookie, anyway?) that have potential but don't know what they're doing sure doesn't help either.
Great corners that don't need safety help are hard to find, impossible for this "brain" trust. Maybe another pro bowler will fall into our lap.

MNF might come to the rescue, those tend to be the games Tomlin gets the Steelers ready to play.

Yeah, I hear 'ya, but the simple fact of the matter is that the Steelers are going on the road to face a team that is scoring 40 points per game.

Jesus @#$%ing Christ, the Steelers lost AT HOME to a Tampa team quarterbacked by Mike Glennon.

So we go to Tampa in hot weather and expect to have a better outcome? Yeah, I am hopeful.

But realistic. Mike Tomlin's defense could not stop a quality QB if a game depended on it.

Since that is the case in every game, and every quality NFL QB shred Mikey's defense.

The game starts at 8:20 at night, so hot weather shouldn't be a factor.

Everything else you said is spot on.

YES, we win tonight but also realize the STEELERS are o-1-1 and a loss tonight is still 0-2-1 so I'd need the stats on 0-2-1 teams. I realize your point but still am a half full person and we are o-1-1 as of right n ow. A WIN will set a lot of this straight.

But, but, but, but, but, .........that tie means we aren’t really 0-3

No matter how bad things look, Shades and the Steelers almost never lose on Monday nights. Also playing in Tampa it might as well be a home game.

Bottom line, you need to win 10 games to make the playoffs. In most seasons 10 games does the trick. A loss tonight we are two games behind Baltimore and Cincinnati. It also means the Steelers will need to win 10 of the next 13 games to hit the ten win mark. That's a tall order, and we play some good teams later in the season.

If the Steelers are 9-6-1, we will likely need to win our division, with means hoping Baltimore and Cincinnati tanks and beating them 3-1 or 4-0 when we play them. A head to head loss to either team with a two game lead on is a real killer for our chances.
