DJ working with The Route God

DJ's pick with the 3rd Rd pick from the RAIDERS looked like a steal until I realized DJ was "AB Lite"

AB was crazy but you never questioned his effort until that very last game or two. DJ was not AB in work ethic.

Barely ever was anyone AB-like in work ethic. Maybe Jerry Rice and Debbo off the top of my head..

If the 'route doctor' is also a psychiatrist DJ has an infinitesimal chance at a comeback.

But, alas, no. Another Tomlin high talent/low IQ/high maintenance project that...SURPRISE!...didn't pan out.

Low IQ or just bad attitude? He had a nice route tree and got open. Knowing the offense wasn't an issue it was being willing to give his all on every play that was the issue. The quality of the offense didn't help either.

I don’t know berm, we have a pretty good improved WR room.

Bringing in the DJ could be like changing the chemistry to a negative and trying to get his play to off-feet that negative.

Can the Route God hone his attitude, for the entire season……. Even when his target count is near zero……???

He may have run a good route here and there...good on him. But:

*Questionable hands at key moments
*The next block he attempts will be his first
*The next tackle he tries to break will be his first
*Horrible, entitled attitude
*Locker room cancer

FACTS!
Watched him a lot when he was at University of Toledo.
Routes were sublime.
The rest of his game, especially his hands, were inconsistent and maddening.

There was no thing between his ears, maybe it was the howl of the wind that got him confused…………

He should have worn at least one ear plug, the foam kind……………
