I'm tracking it on the ticker,but not watching after yesterdays showing of what the game plan is for these last few.

I don’t like how he rested the guys yesterday and then decide to play them today only to look sloppy.


Commit to resting them or finish the season strong. Today was an Ovie glaze fest. Tnt was non stop talk about him.

I thought they'd actually play a real game today. I guess it was give them 4 free points weekend.

They should have just the guys rest another game. I guess they'll mail it in the last game as well. Just not a good way to head into the playoffs..imo

I understand getting some real time reps in to stay sharp. Today just seemed like they coasted.

Sloppy execution. Lack of puck control, over passing.


On the contrary Washington is still playing for a spot. So I guess I can try to understand the caps looking more intentional in their game….but….you’re the Pittsburgh Penguins, play with some pride.
 
This is my apprehension with resting players. No way to predict if they come out of the rest with the same chemistry and passion that they had when they sat down.

I would have been pissed as well. People pay good money for those tickets and sometimes travel from far away to see the game.

Rick Tochett will have the flyers so amped up for this.. and the flyer fans will be foaming at the mouth in Philadelphia..

The pens better be ready from the first drop of the puck to the last

But this is the Philadelphia Flyers man!

This would be similar intensity to me as a Steelers ravens playoff game..
Maybe more for me personally… the Philadelphia Flyers are my most despised organization in all of professional sports!

I get that part. Playoff hockey is the best of any sport for playoffs. And, death to the flyers!
 
So, tonight's game has two broadcasts. One is in Spanish and the other one is with two guys doing sign language. That one has the audio from the ice, and two guys are on the right doing the sign. Weird.
 
Three goals on five shots. That looks good on the stat sheet.

Actually, this deaf broadcast has a ton of info on the bottom, ice time, SOG, penalty, etc. It's kind of cool. Even shows the odds on who will win the upcoming faceoff. Kind of interesting.
