Drafting a Wr in round 1 to me is saying the the guy you traded for and paid a **** ton of money is not a WR1.

Go trenches or corner please
That room outside DK is bare. It is saying we threw you in a room with one cracker and it is no wonder you are hungry.

We simply need more crackers in the room.

I'm usually with ya, I'd take a trench pick almost every year and I am hoping they take Colton Hood or another CB in rnd 1. BUT, the WR FA group is lacking big time, its Alex Pierce and then not much else. So if they don't go WR in rnd 1, you ignore the 2nd biggest hole on the team.

Just my opinion, but I don't really like any of the WRs who I think will be there in rnd 2. I'm not sold on the likes of Germie Bernard, Zach Branch, Bren. Thompson, Sarratt and Jakobi Lane. Skyler Bell and Antonio Williams I still have to look into, so a couple maybes there. The team will obviously have different evals, but the talent/value for pick 53 at WR doesn't mesh. If they double dipped in rnd 3, then maybe they could avoid WR in 1 and 2, but the chances of getting your guys are lessened.

Personally I would take Omar Cooper at 21, but if the team can trade back to the end of the first to get picks for '27 and take Cooper there, that would be too perfect.

I think my ideal scenario is what you described. Trade back in the first and go with Cooper or take a DB in the first and move up in the second to get Cooper.

I would not be unhappy with Caleb Banks, love his size and he had a great senior bowl and combine to erase any doubts from the '25 injury.
Give me McDonald at 21 and I am a happy camper. Then they could trade up in 2 for a WR.

I don’t have a problem if we go offensive tackle in the first round
However, I want to strengthen the middle of our defense big time!
I am tired of watching the Steelers get embarrassed by opposing teams run games with pedestrian running backs, chewing up big yardage against them.
Nothing is more demoralizing to a team and it’s fans watch their favorite pro football team, get humiliated play after play, by being out physical and pushed around. And that has happened way too often the last year or two to the defense.

Because of that, my first three pics are on defense right up the middle!
Hunter- Texas Tech - NT
Rodriquez- Texas Tech - ILB
Clark - TCU - Safety

Thank you for your attention on this matter.
