NFL 2022 draft thread

****. Neither Rudolph or Trubisky are going to want to stick around and be stuck as a backup. Both will be gone when their contracts are up unless no one wants them at all.
Pickett isn't starting this year. Rudy I think has one more year on his contract so after next season he's gone.

We have 3 young QBs. I think Mason may go bye bye and we bring in a vet

Now he's not even a bridge. May as well trade Trubisky now. Why would you not start Picket day 1?
I think they want him to sit a year at least. That was their plan with Ben too till he screwed it up by being great

I think Rudolph is going to be moved now... either cut or traded... Im guessing they take him to camp and hope he has a good preseason.

I also think we are going to either draft a late round guy or sign a UDFA as a fourth arm that will make the team

Rudolph is a backup or worse no matter where he goes.

Not in love with this pick at all.

Physically, he is a lesser version of Mitch Trubisky in every measurable category.

I hope he pans out for us but I just don't see his arm being anything special in the NFL.

Who ******* cares about Trubisky or Rudolph....they are journeymen at best. You can probably plug in an USFL QB and get the same results you would with either of those bums!

I'm not happy with the pick but I would have punched a puppy if Willis was their selection.

If they were going to take a QB in the first, I'm glad it was Pickett.

Even though he does not have the ceiling of Willis, his floor is a good 20 stories higher and he has a better overall chance of becoming a consistent, franchise QB, as accuracy is difficult to develop.

Eh, Trubisky is the faster fat kid of the two.

Ravens are never afraid to move around and it usually benefits them. Steelers always just stand pat, oh well our guys gone….

So lets see the positives here

1. This means almost no chance BAker Mayfield is ever a Steeler now
2. With all the qb needy teams passing on these guys, next season's QB crop will probably be grossly overvalued
3. the next four may well be taken between now and our pick the second and push better players down to us now
4. People have something to ***** about now

Because he may not be ready? Whats the ******* rush?

Willis would have been a project so it made sense to let him sit and learn, but Pickett has a ton of starts under his belt. What will Pickett learn on the bench? It would be like the Pats sitting Mac Jones. You drafted the experienced QB. Start him unless he's completely lost.

Pickett isn't starting this year.
Naw he's the #1 QB off the board who actually has some polish in his game....He will start at least 8 games and is gonna ******* be our QB for the next decade...
