College Football Week 14 - Championship Week

Commentators are trying to make the case for Michigan to be #1 and they are begging the committee to make Georgia and Bama play again... LOL Their big 10 bias can't be contained.
 
Pitt wins the Acc championship… what a great season but it stings that the math probably put them in the playoffs had they not lost either of the games they did…always going to have some disappointment i guess

Only one team finished the season without a disappointment. It was an excellent year for Pitt and they earned this ACC title. Great job by Narduzzi to get the team this far and hopefully they can cap the season off with a bowl win. Maybe one day they can actually make a playoff by winning a conference like they do in every other sport.

Yeah, I did. They were ******* better. Houston "settled" for fg's because they werent up to the task of getting it in the end zone on those possessions. Now go cry about it somewhere else, ya puss

See, the only reason I dont see it playing out that way, is because the committee wont want to pit Alabama vs Georgia in the semifinal, basically having them play two games back-to-back.

I'll be absolutely shocked if they match Bama and UGA. I'd say there's about a 99.7% chance that won't happen. Although these days it seems that for some people a 99.7% chance of something not happening is cause for concern.

That's what I'm thinking. They want to see Bama and Georgia get the chance to play again so Georgia can't be at 4. Michigan surely has made a statement and could put a wrench into everything if their running game powers them through the playoffs.

I don't see anyone beating Bama unless Bryce Young is in the COVID protocol. Just cancel the Final Four and award the trophy so no one gets hurt before draft day.

Congratulations to Pitt. Great season capped with a ACC Championship. If the Steelers went with Pickett I would be behind it. Didn't like the fake slide. That should be an OC marked from the spot of the slide. That rule is there to protect you young man. Don't abuse it or you will pay the price.
 
I think Georgia is one of the 4 best teams in the country, but including a non-conference champ and having the only undefeated team be the lowest seed shows just what a shameless farce a 4 team playoff is.

Playoff births and seeding shouldn’t be based on “well, if we had to guess… / in our estimation…”.

Well Berm ... Some folks say there's this thing called SEC Bias. Now, I'm not necessarily a proponent of that idea. However, this move by the "Committee" sure gives them fodder for their argument.
