This is the guy we hope Bush becomes, he was all over the field last night for Tampa, stuffing the run, coverage, picking that pass off. He looks like the real deal. If you never watched a game, that guy would've caught your attention. 9 sacks and 140 tackles this season.

Bush had early rookie success, and hasn't been as good for a season. He'll never be the factor we hoped for in coverage.

He had his moments in coverage. The kid had an injury and isn't in that pivotal third year yet. Perhaps let him get there before stamping a never on him.To throw some facts at you in his first season he had 4 PD in 15 games in 5 games he had three before his injury. His arrow was pointing up.

Jeepers, an injured Bush can't catch a break. Seems like everyone (not everyone) is looking for failure before even given a chance. Let's get healed up and some actual play under his belt then make a more accurate assesment.

Fans better hope so as we traded up draft picks to get him. I compared Bush to Spliane in there last games played, and Spillane had more splash plays across the board. What's all this about his first 15 games? He's going into his third year, and did not play to that standard in his 2nd season before he was hurt. I think he's too short and not as aware as he should be, plus misses his share of tackles.

Yeah I remember your statistical analysis that didn't factor in Bush's sideline to sideline ability in comparison to Spillane's restricted capabilities. Stats don't always paint you a perfect picture. No worries though I think you are our most accomplished window licker. I wouldn't trade you for the world. Now get to shining they aren't going to shine themselves.

Carries irony as usually he loves just fast players from the combine. But that player and coach hate agenda has to stay strong. If he wanted to hate he should have pointed out how a never have been bounced around in Marsh shouldn't have been added when Dupree went down. Spillane's slow *** couldn't cover for him in the Cleveland game to cover his deficiencies. Even if they couldn't find a vet pass rusher they could have found one that could hold the edge.

For me that was one of the worst decisions of the year. Besides you know who ever defensively called the Cleveland game.

He played as a rookie and looked pretty good. He started this year with some improvement and got hurt. He missed most of the season. How can you even make the comment you did? We haven't seen enough of him to make any determination. Give him next year after the injury and then we'll see. It's like you wish players to be bad just because.

Stupidity is your hallmark obviously, as well as posting crap just to get attention. Negative or otherwise. White had a less than average rookie year, while Bush had a very solid rookie season. Was a impact on the defense.

Bush actually was outplaying White after four games before he got injured. Who knows how much Bush would have produced had he not got injured.

For the world? Wow. Stat's don't factor in who sees the picture first either, here Spilane > Bush. And on the statistical analysis Spilane > Bush. Bush is NOT living up to the status of a top ten pick. Devin White is.

Keep focusing on speed as it that's all that matters. Bush is short, missed more tackles, didn't make as many plays, etc..

Anything wrong with comparing PD's Sacks, FF, Int's and % of missed tackles? I never said who the better player was, so you F off. What I said is accurate. Dumbo.

His season was cut short quickly for you to stamp Bush with anything can only be agenda driven. Oh now the short comment lulz. What is he one inch off of White?

You don't have to worry about Spillane missing sideline tackles he would have to be able to get there to begin with.

Just you trying to justify that Spillane is even in the same league as Bush is laughable.

Ok lets help you out with tackles.

A slow LBer can get a lot of tackles if the plays come to him but still give up more yards and more plays in the process.

Just like a CB who has a lot of PD can be simply be contributed to being targeted more.

A 5 game statistic is not going to be able to be read well as Bush went out too early with injury. Go back to his rookie season and you will see Bush's TFL almost double Spillane's. And in a shortened season his PD was looking attractive, a full season of work would have easily outproduced Spillane's production IMO

Spillane did well and at times did not so well. he is a ok player but not in Bush's league.

It's more like he want's players to be bad to prove he (coach) was right. Backwards thinking. Regardless of my feelings of a player I always want them to excell at their jobs because ultimately that makes the team better. If I assess wrong I'll eat the crow but always relish being wrong in that it makes my beloved STEELERS that much better.

He thinks laughably he would do a better job as a GM and or a coach. I say laughingly we all know for a fact it to be a crazy *** notion. Cooch is a ****** NFL player and draft evaluator, he might be the shittiest ever.

Agreed...Devin White looks like a future Pro Bowler...should of been one this year ..

I like Bush's athletic abilities...but I dont believe a run "stuffer" is one of them..
His value is his sideline to sideline speed and that's were his tackle totals and passes defended will be measured and be value added..

If your looking for an inside run stopper...that's not his game..

Im still not sold on Spillane as that guy either...looks like he could use some added bulk and strength..

Bottom line is that the Steelers need to utilize Bush that takes advantage of his strengths for him to be worthy of his mid first round selection...
Time will tell...but I am concerned about his knee and how that affects his athleticism going forward..

No need to look up his fails there are many to reference or his latest gem the draft is filled with offensive talent.

And you are totally off base with that comparison. Bush can and does things Spillane can't dream of. With Bush in there we don't get killed by those RBs out of the backfield like we did against Washington and then the Browns. Quit just blindly looking at stats and learn to look at the damn game and what a player is actually doing that might not show up in your glorious stat sheets. Spillane is OK but he won't ever be able to replace the things Bush was asked and able to do. He can ably replace Bince.
