The Browns are Currently Managing a Covid Outbreak

PFT Is reporting at 9:21 AM this morning that the Stains have closed their facility after a coach tested positive.

Oooh boy....startin' to get a lil dicey

If ever there was a team to miss out on the playoffs due to having to forfeit because of a pandemic virus running rampant on their team, then of course it would be the browns

I'll be sharing this.

Cope, is there a separate protocol for coaches and staff? I can’t find anything online regarding non-sideline personnel. If it’s not considered parity wouldn’t a non-sideline coach or assistant just be mandated no contact with the team? Sorta like the OC last night for Clemson? He wasn’t making the play calls and had no contact with the team.

Edit: I just checked NFL.com’s COVID-19 protocol literature. There is nothing separate for players/coaches/staff.

Saints will have no Rbs or Rb coach this week. If the Browns was a normal game there is no way it would be played tomorrow. If their WR coach is positive how are the WRs not close contacts?

Not sure what this means from Joe Haden, but I'd assume nothing good.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I’m so pissed and sad at the same time..... stay safe out here</p>— Joe Haden (@joehaden23) <a href="https://twitter.com/joehaden23/status/1345409688809177089?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 2, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Fowler says Haden was flagged for a Covid situation and won't be playing.

"Steelers corner Joe Haden has been flagged for a Covid-19 situation, and though not finalized, the Steelers are planning to play without him vs. Cleveland, per source."

Long as he doesn't have it. and can play next week. Close contact is not a positive test. Next week is gonna be insane. Kamara already sounds out.

ESPN reported he tested positive. He's done for the 1st week of playoffs too.

This is an outbreak. I will bet they will have another positive tomorrow. The League has checked out for covid protocol, just to end the season. Honestly we should just have an outbreak next week to push the playoffs back a week.

The league is going to force this game to be played while the Browns are having an outbreak, endangring our entire team. There will be 2-3 more positives after this game, and if they infect our team, we're ****** for the playoffs.

Not out of the realm of a possibility. If I was Tomlin I would tell them no contact with the other team before or after the game. Only on the field. Minimize contact...

I told you this was an outbreak. Head Coach Kevin Stefanski, 2 coaches and 2 players tested positive today.

I hope we don't get an outbreak from those dirty *****.

**** you NFL for ignoring protocol and forcing the game to happen.

Positive tests mean they are out for the playoff game.
