Sometimes the formation and play all dictate it. Not what they want the offense was just in the right formation to get what they wanted. It happens. You should know as a "coach".

Teams backup backs are better than our starters.

it’s not the backs, it’s the blocking and design of the plays. The ravens have a well coached OL and plays designed to actually block people in the run game. The steelers OL is coached to be on roller skates and the run game design is to be a bunch of shotgun runs where the RB has to make guys miss just to gain a few yards.
