I tried to hold out hope for him. I really did.

But when the coaches tell him not to throw the ball under any circumstances, including 3rd and ******* 17...

It's clear they have zero confidence in him even being able to complete the ball, much less convert.

Useless. If nothing else, figure out how to get some of his salary back. Total waste of a roster spot.

Seriously? this is what you took from today's game? You might want to visit the 9-0 thread. It should cheer you up a little bit. :becky:

LOL....Seriously wig. Why would you have Mason throw in that situation? 3 and 17 up by a ton of points?

I may be responding poorly to the events of the last couple weeks.

Take a BIG huff and pass, but cut in line a couple qwick times to catch up................

Relax,.....have a Homebrew

Salute the nation

Pump the breaks on dumping the top QB from last year. WE'd only have 3 wins If Rudolph didn't play last year. Still the only winning QB on the roster with the 0-2 ben and 3-3 Duck.

Dobbs played Zero snaps last year so...

He just wasn't used properly.....

This was an interesting game to give up on Mason...

Steelers are a type of team that doesn't like rubbing it in on the other team. Never have dating back a very very long time. They didn't want to give Mason the green light to start chucking passes down field in a blowout. The Cheats on the other hand will put up as many points as they can even in a blowout with 2 minutes left. When Ben is gone I don't believe what QB's we have on the roster is the answer anyways.

The Steelers should let him throw the ball. He needs the work.

It was so windy in Pittsburgh yesterday during gametime that Half tge city lost power due to downed trees... we saw multiple plays affected by wind I am pretty sure throwing wasn’t something the coaches wanted to go with when they could just run and punt and get out of the Cold rain and wind...

If the Steelers were behind by 10 and they do that, i am worried.. mason was just in there to save ben from any accidental hits....

Mason is what he is, which is a barely adequate backup QB. Funny that he has all the tools on paper but seemingly little confidence, while Duck has little in the way of physical tools but all the swagger of Bubby Brister.
Few teams follow one franchise QB with another one right away. Because I'm old and remember things, I remember that it was 20 years in between Bradshaw and Roethlisberger.
Two things I know for certain:
1. Ben's heir apparent is not on the team.
2. I have no clue who Ben's heir apparent will be.

The game was over tic tic tic is all Tomlin was interested in, Way to much talk on Rudolph when the game was over same as last week when he was put in and he did completer passes to get them in field goal range. Come on
