Steelers bungles game thread #buryBurrow@home

I think it’s time to give Benny Snell some snaps. I’ve seen enough of Conner last 3 games

So what you’re saying is: Snell running into our OL for no gain > Connor’s 3 yard loss running to the sidelines? Not sure I want either. Gotta find option C.

We sure have become one dimensional , the running game has disappeared. Three field goals would have been nice to have had one TD on those drives.

31 carries for 88 yards 2.84 yards per carry

Well unless the OL blocks I would just keep letting Ben throw and mix a few runs in now and then. Who really cares to they are giving it to. The OL Sucks. I hate seeing when they bring their BIG package in. SMH

Diontae needs to focus and catch the balls he's supposed to catch.

The thing about Brown was his freakish concentration. He caught **** you just couldn't believe. Diontae - he makes a play then drops a 5 yarder over the middle in this hands. Just no focus.

He is playing today.

WOW. well great. I havent noticed him. Pardon the post then. I didnt know he was back. Im glad he is though.

My hope would be for PIT to score a couple more TDs and be able to rest Ben and let....well....I guess Mason Rudolph get some reps and keep Ben on the sidelines. The more I think of that, the more I dont like it. I just am not sold on Rudolph--and of course James Conner.
I love Conner's story. He beat lymphoma by taking chemo treatments and staying in shape until he could come back. I understand what he went through. Im taking chemo treatments these days and I know how it makes you feel so I respect Conner. I truly do, but Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin have to stop looking at him through their Pitt Panther/Pittsburgh Steeler goggles. Hes a great home town story but I think I would take Giovanni Bernard over Conner. And Mason??? well he is gonna have a helluva an act to follow if he is the heir apparent. I sure wish they would find someone else. Hell, Josh Dobbs might be better, He certainly is more athletic.

Why not TD's on every one of those?

particularly when they bring in the big package and then try some cute-*** weak outside run.

Those sweeps with Conner are an abject failure. His one good run was straight ahead. No running straight ahead apparently.

i know it looks like conner is sucking, but we did pay derek watt to be a fullback right? maybe we should try and use him as such

Our OL went to **** in one off season after Munch left.

We are up 22 to 7. I will take that.

Bengles have 29 yards rushing.

Sometimes talent has something to do with it. Also age. Father time isn't forgiving. And hasn't it been a few years since he left? About time we move on from him. He has moved on from us I am sure.

I'm bothered that Dobbs is sitting on the sidelines, going over plays with Ben. Shouldn't Mason be involved in that as well? Happy Dobbs is doing it. He's smart as ****. But where the hell is Mason?

I am sure that play/formation will be setting gup future plays for us. :)

Playing checkers?

Alualu is back and the Bengals have just 29 yards rushing in the first half.
Well Im glad he is back. I guess Im not paying enough attention to who is on the DLine. 29 yards rushing--thats more like it. The past few weeks have been brutal to watch as far as run defense goes. Glad to have Tyson back. That is good news.

That first play for CIN in the 2nd half showed how a team is supposed to run block. The Bengals opened up a huge hole for Bernard. That is what I wish PIT OLine could do.

D came up big. I see our O rushing a bunch of times on their first possesion.
