Translation: I finally realize that no team will sign me, and even though I lost all dignity with my attitude and actions last season, I'm going to maintain a sliver of it (I think I have) by 'retiring'.

does this mean this is the last AB thread we will ever hafta deal with? bout time cuz I left God a message about it with his service a year ago. seems even God can't find good help these days.

Sounds like somebody completely misunderstood his last update from his investment guy.
 
I would like to take this opportunity and announce that I also am retiring from trying to play in the NFl. It was a good run but I realize it is time.

Little chest has ONLY been behaving due to what a JUDGE has ordered, if he breaks the Judges order he will go to jail and then guess what.........

There is a lot of hurdles for him to clear before he can start work in the NFL again.

No way. Even with the incredible stats for the time he played, way too much off the field baggage. No ring, no MVPs won't help.

You could probably make a case that, well, why is Sterling Sharpe in the HoF then? Very similar career span and ABs stats dwarfs Sharpe's stats, but it just all comes back to what AB did to the league and outside of it as well (sexual assault allegations, physical assault etc.) And Sharpe's career was cut short due to injury, AB for being the stupidest and most loathsome athlete on the planet basically.

Time will tell, but I say he gets in at some point later on down the road. Morals, dignity, and accountability are dwindling in this country and by the time 2030 rolls around his antics will be the new normal and all people will speak of are his numbers.

In 2030 football will be LESS relevant than it is today which is less relevant than it was 10 years ago..........and trending
