D.Johnson working with 84

This can be viewed, as the author stated, in two ways. Personally, as long as DJ knows how to separate himself from the 'idiot 84' - he's learning from one of the best of all time - "OG 84"...

Hopefully Antonio's mental health isn't contagious. Other than that they have similar styles so from a physical perspective "good". As far as the rest, Dionte Johnson is a football lifetime from FA. So he isn't gonna Get His for quite some time. Maybe a poison pill with Ben, but that is the worst of it.

Management should be stepping in here to curtail this relationship. Social distancing should be going on as much as possible and avoiding contact with former players that have damaged the organization should be a consideration as well. Dumb move by Diontae in my opinion. Go work with your receiver coach.

There ain't a WR coach in the league that can teach DJ what AB can on the field...

I recognize 84 was one of the (if not the) top WR in the league and his work ethic and route running were unquestioned and that young WRs could learn a lot from him in those regards. However, his acrimonious forced exit from the Steelers and all of his unbelievable actions since that time (not to mention everything that has come to light from his past) make me very leery about having one of our young impressionable WRs hanging around him for any length of time.

Just the crap that transpired between JuJu and AB alone would make me stay away from this dude. I don't deny that AB has talent but there is no evidence that he knows how to coach either.
There have been plenty of star athletes that have tried to taking on coaching, Gretzky, P. Roy to name a couple and it just seems that the more Lunch bucket types of players have more success at conveying to the masses.

Just like the thought of AB coming back to Pittsburgh as a player would not sit well with me.......why would I want my young impressionable WR taking advice from this douche

Nothing he learns outweighs the possible negative reprecussions for me

Did you get your season tickets yet Berm.....? Tommy Boy in your own back yard ..... you must be thrilled......lol

AB looked like he had a gray hair on the left side of his mustache. Oh my. I sure hope its purely an athletic mentoring that is going on. And like others have said you wonder about the decision by Johnson to train with the trainwreck.

**** that. AB is a ******* cancer. **** AB on the field....it doesn't wash out the cancer of the AB off the field. At this point, one can only hope Johnson is his own man. I hate to hear the chatter AB is spitting out about Ben.

So what you are saying is.....grey be looming.

I don't like it at all; but DJ has to be accountable to himself and the team. If the team gave him permission or doesn't hesitate when DJ checks in with his work-out schedule of offseason, then it is what it is. Brown's therapy is progressing and he seems better. He actually proposed to his baby mama and we haven't had an outbreak since court appearance.............

I would NEVER want him back and I think DJ is an idiot for this but let's see what plays out. PLUS we don 't know the extent of time / quantity of work outs / anyone else there.............. Ect..

If DJ is susceptible to things AB might say, then we don't need him on the team in the first place. Also, if that were to even be a thing AB does, I think DJ has enough sense to realize if a potential GOAT wr can end up out of the sport in less than a year, what would happen to a way lesser known 2nd year guy if he tried that ****? Plus, if AB, on his apology tour, wants back in the league, it will get around fast if he's still trashing teams, coaches, or players. It's probably going to be hard enough for him on his best behavior. I think we all need to realize that the camaraderie among players in the league is more "we're all NFL players" instead of "we're all members of this team vs that team".

Like how to trash your QB and insinuate he assaulted some women? Ya... AB is PERFECT for that. Even better than Ocho Sinkhole or Terrible Owen's.

AB proposed to the woman he tried to have arrested and whom he called a ***** on live-feed social media?

****, it's a girl's dream come true!

Amazing what the prospect of "JAUIL TIME" will do to someone. Little chest wouldn't be such a big chest while in the slammer. His therapy must be doing some good as he seems to be trying to make right some wrongs and hasn't created headlines for awhile.

Now the Baltimore area is blowing up as Lamar Jackson is working out now in Florida with AB. 1/2 think they will sign him now and the other 1/2 hope AB does not wear off on him. **** him up AB, he is already a cocky **** anyway. Shouldn't be hard; plus will be nice to start learning his new WR position as he won't last as a Running Back trying to play QB.
