Outside of Ed, does anyone really give a **** what Ravens fans think?

true on the part of ravens fans but it does seem pretty ignorant to be celebrating that a qb in our league didnt do well in a meaningless publicity stunt.
especially a qb, and his team, that made us look stupid the last couple years and will more than likely be doing for another decade.

Is anyone really surprised by this?

He has played exactly one game vs us and had one of his worse games as a pro in it... he is a notoriously inaccurate passer who will undoubtedly follow in the shoes of every other flash in the pan run first QB in nfl history

Mahomes is tge future at QB... LJ will start for a few years then bounce around as a journeyman or backup... it is what it is...

He's a gimmick. It's all good. My biggest concern in the near future unless the bungles bungle it,is Joe Burrow.

steelers had them all but beat in the first meeeting until JuJu fumbled. The second meeting was meaningless and the steelers played accordingly.

if rooting against your rivals is now "ignorant" then what’s the point of being a fan?

the point is that Jackson has major flaws in his game. His success is all due to his running ability and the wide open WRs that has produced. When he doesn’t have those wide open guys, he struggles. He struggles with accuracy as well.

while this contest isn’t a game, it does show his flaws. You must find the combine “ignorant" as well.

The question with Jackson is will the ravens finally try to develop him as a pocket passer or will they once again run the option as their main focus? I predicted Jackson would have a bad season because I assumed that they would have tried to develop him last year but they didn’t. They doubled down on the running and tried to steal a Super Bowl against unprepared defenses. It nearly worked but finally a team adjusted and stopped them.

We saw with Kordell that if you have a great run game and defense, coupled with a running QB, you can win a bunch of games. But it’s a dead end because in the playoff, you will eventually face a team that can take the run away and make your QB beat them passing.

I expect Jackson will run quite a bit next year but they have to try to develop him more as a passer, don’t they? If they don’t. If they use him like a RB again next year, it pretty much tells you that they don’t think he’s capable of being more than that. You couldn’t possibly pay a QB a huge contract and submit him to such risk.

Tape,...... Jackson's career will be very shortened if the use him the same as this year. He will face much more and bigger hits because the "D's" are catching up to him fast.

Salute trhe nation

They went 14-2. Why would they change anything?

Obviously you are a dinosaur and do not understand the nuance that is today's 2.0 QB. Jackson is a great QB. Finally a HC that understands his ability and the ability of the underutilized running QB. Imagine what could have been if Cowher had the genius of Harbaugh? How many SBs lost because HCs didn't see the genius.. nay... the god-like abilities of running QBs....

Mobile QBs like Mahomes are amazing... but that dude and Watson in Houston and wilson in Seattle are guys thst ate looking to pass from the snap until there aren’t any other options... LJ makes one or two reads then runs... he uses a fake first step instead of a pump fake to pull safeties out of position... all of that type of qb he is has never seen any sustained success..

his mind is on vacation, doubt his head was really into the competition. He had a great season. That poor showing doesn't define him. If he has more poor playoff appearances, that is a different story.

The only two throws he "connected" on were thrown sidearm.

Jackson is a very flawed passer. Jackson is a very good runner. Steelers and Titans showed how to beat Jackson-led offense - hit the @#$% out of him since he wants to play as a RB, make him work as a QB in the pocket, and he will throw picks.

I would really like to see Lamar put it deep into the doubters.

Gloating over this **** looks completely pathetic until we beat him.

How about in the meantime we quit acting like Lamar Jackson dominated the steelers and there's little hope he can ever be defeated. He played 1 game vs the steelers where he threw for 161 yards and 3 INTs. He was even held in check on runs. Just 70 yards on 14 carries with a long of 9.

Lets see Jackson beat Ben.

I didn't say he dominated us and there is no hope that he can ever be defeated. I didn't say RG3 dominated us, even though they beat us 28-10. I just meant quit acting like a loser *****.
