College Football Bowl Thread

Players sitting out bowl games as to not jeopardize their stock in the draft is becoming more and more prevalent. As much as it disappoints me as a college football fan, maybe it will help to convince people that a 8 or 16 game playoff is the way to go.

I don’t have a problem with it. Coaches leave and switch jobs in their own interests and few complain. Can’t blame a player for protecting his own interests.

I’m just playin with ya

Guess SEC can’t handle that Big 10. Speed

I honestly thought the Minnesota game would be a good one, but I expected Bama to take advantage of Michigan’s defensive tendencies early and often. Not sad to admit I was wrong.

Penn State fans should be loving how the Minnesota offense looks. Getting their OC was a big upgrade

The top QB recruit just de-committed from Oklahoma. Speculation it means Lincoln Riley to Dallas

Oh well stay with big bad Bama for over three quarters
At least o had a little hope throughout the game
Congrats Berm!

I wouldn't be too proud. Bama is missing their star QB and their defense has been awful all year. They have two freshman ILBs and their DL is average at best. I'm shocked they are winning the game.

Wow, Saban quite the ******* at the end of that one.

Saban rubbing **** in harbaugh's face. I'd call that last TD low class if it was against any other coach. Jim Harbaugh 0-4 in Bowls at Michigan.

I didn't watch much of that game. I was watching the Minnesota game which was the better game. Great back and forth but then Minnesota overpowered them for the win.

If Tua decides to stay, you have to figure at least 1 of Bama's other QBs are entering the transfer portal. Tua should go to the NFL. He will likely still be a 1st rounder on his potential alone. It could actually end up being better to be drafted a little later for a QB. It means you likely go to a better team and if you slide to round 2 it also means no 5th year option in the contract..

I would rather be drafted in round 2 than in the late 1st.
