Brown made a twitter plea (I know, you're shocked) presumably to NFL commissioner Goodell to wrap up his investigation and rule so teams may decide if they want to consider signing Brown or not.

The commissioner responded by saying something to the effect of, "We have a lot to go through, we'll get to it when we can and as soon as we know anything, we'll call you."

Of course this frustrates Brown because few to no teams will risk signing him if they don't know how the league is going to respond to his general jack-assery.

What I find interesting is that Brown has been officially released. He is NOT an NFL player right now. He's just a guy on the street. Does the league have any legal imperative to get the investigation wrapped up? Would they expedite an investigation for Joe Nobody on the street? Of course not. So why would the league consider it in their best interests to waste time and manpower investigating Brown's case until some team decides they're going to bite the bullet and sign him even without assurances of how an investigation may turn out?

I thought he was free. In fact, I saw a video he made joyfully stating his new found freedom.

Yeah that ******* guy sure got himself into a jam in a matter of just a couple of months. Zero ***** given here.

Didn't want to start a new thread about that dipshit Bell, so I thought this was a good place for it. Bell did an interview with the Athletic, I believe. He said, "Ben was encouraging him to come back, even in week 10 Ben sent him a message encouraging him to come back" Bell, said, "he never responded to the message"
Yet the national media and a **** load of so called "fans" jumped on Ben about not being a leader and it being his fault these guys left, and Bell on a national interview threw Ben under the bus.

Yes, but is Gronk going to come back to save the 6-0 Pats season?

This is the Pats forum, right?

the "rog" only responded and in such a way that he was actually saying

"**** you little dick, err I mean chest as I'm the big dick and I'll get to it when I
dang well please........... so piss off little man"

Apparently if the league does suspend him, he can start serving it even if he's not officially on a team. Can't recall where I read that.

The very sad thing is that some team will sign this pathetic excuse of a human being. Kapernick's collusion case must have been pretty easy to prove honestly if someone will give this tool more money.

The Steelers already paid him his 21 million signing bonus. He played 1 year on that deal and then began demanding a NEW deal because he was no longer the "highest paid receiver". He did not care that a huge part of the package was the very large signing bonus that is now counting AGAINST the Steelers cap even though he's gone.

A year away from football will admittedly do his ego good... Cowboys fans will love him next season

what was that he said about this broke *** ***** with kids and jacking off on her back.

Each week karma gets served.

You reap what you sow.

Keep that chest up. Prayed up. Maybe he will help you change your ways.

Brown IS an NFL player, he is just currently not on a roster. Unless he files retirement papers, he is still technically an NFL player, he represented by the players union, etc.

That makes sense now how he can get suspended without actually being on a roster.

Basically, Brown is getting the “Chinese Inspection” from the league office. Meaning, it’s like lettuce on the dock in customs....it sits there and decomposes until it isn’t there anymore.

He asked for it, now he’s getting it.
