if Ben

4-5 week Ben injury would be worst case scenario

If it is a problem with his ligaments in his throwing elbow, and it is like 4 or 5 games., I'd prefer to see what Rudolph is for the whole season. Then at the end of the year you know if you have a legit starter on the roster. If you do not, you have a very high pick and hopefully a Franchise guy is there for you. If Rudolph plays well and wins half the games then Ben comes back and takes 3 weeks to get any form at all you are ****** and yet you have no clarity going forward.

Trade Ben before he decides to retire, for some high draft picks, desperately need a #1 WR and RB

Tank for Tua!

Hahahahaha

Given the Steelers don't seem to be postseason material this year, I kind of prefer that Rudolph gets an extended look over the next few weeks.

He showed some great things today, executing about every type of throw in the offense.

If he bombs, at least they'll know they need to find another QB to eventually replace Ben.

Ben starts as soon as he's healthy.

If we’re 0-4 when he’s healthy, just let him take the year off. No point in him risking further damage. Hopefully a 2 win season can get Tomlin on some kind of hotseat, that’s all we can hope for at this point because the Rooney’s won’t fire him.

Tomlin won't even take him out of a game when we're down 30, you think he's going to sit him like that

Ben will start as soon as he's ready to go. However after seeing him grab his elbow after he injured it in a non-contact play reminds me of when Terry Bradshaw did the same thing late in his career. He played through pain in 1982 with elbow tendonitis but had to receive a pain killing cortisone shot before every game and those shots into his elbow eventually ruined his ligaments and his throwing arm ending his career in 1983.

No one is trading high draft picks for Ben at this moment. C'mon.

U never know, it could happen, some playoff bound team could lose their QB at any time, did Brees just break his hand????

Actually some players said he was dealing with inflammation all week, I saw that reported by Steelers Depot on Twitter.
Not sure if it's tendonitis

I think Rudolph is more than capable. we could win 9-10 games with him this year

Ben will start when he's healthy. Rudolph played well today but remember it's half a game and Seattle didn't expect him to play. S.F. will have a little film on him and a week to get ready. Not saying he'll play poorly but we still don't know yet.

I do know there is no way Mikey is tanking this season. Not going to happen. He's all about getting enough W's so he's safe. 8 usually does it.

Let Ben call plays from the sidelines, and let Mason throw the ball.

Stuff Tomlin in a dumpster

I have to admit, I truly think this is all on coaching. Tomlin see ya, OC, wtf game plan are you calling? **** works driving, then empty set. DC, come the **** on. Said many times, 2Dl gashed. 3DL stuffed. Let’s go back to two. Damn I miss Munch too. Shoulda fired MT and hired him

Is History Repeating itself?

Tommy Maddox is injured in the Ravens game and Ben comes in and almost pulls out the "W". He doesn't lose another game until the AFC Championship game.

Ben is injured and Mason sparks the offense and damn near pulls out the "W".

Who am I kidding...Cowher had the sense to know that Ben was ready, albeit in a limited manner, to take the reigns. Cool Shades will start Ben until he retires. Mason looked pretty damn good today, we'll see how he progresses with teams preparing for him.

First off. Mason is no where near a franchise QB. Has zero chance to be anything more then a career back up

Second we are in major trouble years of it

Guys. I hate to be negative but a non contact injury like this is serious. It’s tommy John serious which is probably career ending or it’s at a minimum several months. Mason is solid but not a franchise QB. He will not be the next great one.
All the Steelers have had is BIG BEN for several years. Without Ben Tomlin is out the league in 3 years.
Unfortunately I see this team firing mike and being several years away from a competitive. It’s depressing but I think it’s where we are headed. Should have fired mike years ago.
Damn damn
